Chapter 4

Y/n's POV:

Amelie parks the car and we both run to the classroom since we have the same lesson. We go in and everyone looks at us. "Girls. You're late" the teacher says. My eyes quickly caught Vinnie's eyes as we both look at each other. "We know. We're sorry" Amelie says. "We're sorry Mr. Gruwell. It won't happen again" i say with a warm smile and he smiles back. "Okay girls. Go sit down" We nod our heads and head to the only desk that was free. It was behind Nailea and Olivia. Wow I don't want to hear them bragging about stuff again. "Hey" Olivia says turning to us. "Please pay attention to class Mrs. Ponton" The teacher says and I laugh. "Whats funny loser?" Nailea says looking at me. "Please turn your head to your desk before I rip it off" Amelie says as I chuckle. "Ugh you're boring anyway. Come on Liv" Nailea says as she gives me a death stare. "Damn what's her problem?" Amelie asks. "She has a problem with me Ami" I say. "What problem? What do you mean?" She asks worried. "She thinks i like Vinnie because I was at his house yesterday" I say looking at my notebook. "YOU WERE AT HIS HOUSE?" Amelie yells as I put my hand around her mouth. "Amelie" Everyone looks at as even Vinnie. "Are you fucking stupid kid?" I say mad at her. "Sorry I got out of control" she says apologizing. "What were you thinking Amelie? Everyone looked at us!! Are you stupid?" I say looking at her. "Ugh I'm sorry" she apologizes and I hug her. After that scandal everyone couldn't keep their eyes off of us. Everything was quiet.

Lunch:

When the lesson finished everyone goes out of the classroom leaving me, Vinnie and Amelie. "I'm going to the bathroom. See you at the lockers Y/n" Amelie says heading out of the classroom. I nod as I take my backpack and put it over my shoulder. I try to keep my eyes off Vinnie as much as possible. I don't wanna deal with him rn. As I'm walking out of the room Vinnie grabs my wrist and pulls me back inside. "Wow let me go" I say trying to get off his grip. "What was that about earlier?" He asks confused. "What do you mean?" I ask. "What were you and Amelie talking about?" He says letting go off my wrist. "Girls talk. Non of your business" I say looking at him. "Whose house were you at yesterday?" He asks getting closer to me. "Can't you just leave me alone. You don't need to know everything" I say to him as I walk out of the classroom. As I walk out I run to the lockers. I see Amelie at my locker. "Girls slow down. What happened?" She asks. "Nothing happened. He thinks he needs to know everything" I say opening my locker. "Can't you see that he's worried for you? He definitely likes you" she says. "He has a girlfriend and that is not my problem at all. I don't like him and never will" I say as im taking my books out for the next lesson. "Okay fine. As you say" she smirks and I close my locker locking it.

Next lesson:

"What lesson do you have?" Amelie says eating her sandwich. "Math. You?" I ask. "English" she says. "We don't have the same lessons. But Vinnie has" Amelie says smirking at me. "Stop please. I don't like him and I will ignore him. So don't you dare say anything to him" I say to Amelie warning her. "Damn Y/n chill out. Its not like I was trying to do smth nor tell him something" Amelie says defending herself. "Mhm okay" I say standing up from the bench. "I'll go now. Since you don't wanna talk to me" Amelie says. "Okay then I'm going too bye see you later. Love you." I hug her and she hugs back. "Just don't be bothered by Nailea please" she says pulling away from the hug. "Dont worry i can handle her" I say smiling. The bell rings and we both go to different directions because we don't have the same classes. As im walking to the classroom I see Vinnie. Ignore him Y/n ignore him. Don't let him talk to you. I thought to myself as I started walking faster. "Slow down jeeze" Vinnie says approaching me. Ignore him Y/n. You can do it. "Why aren't you talking to me. Are you mad?" He asks. "Im not mad I just don't wanna talk to you" I say as I started waking faster. "Huh, that was easy" i say under my breath as im waking in to the classroom. I walk to the desk and sit down trying to avoid contact with everyone. I take my books out of my bag. I put them on my desk and go on my phone. I hear someone approaching me. I'm sure it's Vinnie so I won't talk. I put my phone down and someone slams their hand on the desk. "Hello nerd" I look up and see Nailea. "Aww thanks for calling me smart hun" I smile at her. "No one likes you so shut the fuck up" she says sitting on the chair next to Vinnie. "What? No one likes me? I think you should ask your boyfriend about that" I wink at her and she frowns. I look at Vinnie and he smiles I smile back. Me and Vinnie keep staring into each others eyes our eye contact was interrupted as he stands up from his chair and approaches me. He sits on the chair next to me.
