[ SANS' POV ]
I was standing up, lazily leaning against the side of some steep cliff, waiting until Y/N was approaching Papyrus' last puzzle. I was just daydreaming until my mind wandered back to what she'd said before.
She wants to teach my brother to cook? Heh, good luck with that, pipsqueak. .
I was about to close my eyes before I heard the sound of shoes crunching in the snow from behind me. Turning my head to the right, I spotted that same girl walking my way. Something red was wrapped around her neck and slightly fluttering in the steady snowfall. Squinting my eyes a bit, I realized it was a red bandana.
Did. . . Paps give that to her?? Why would he-
She spoke up before I had time to think any more about it. "Hey, Sans!" She flashed me a warm smile that was barely visible above her new scarf.
"What's up pipsqueak?" I asked, unbothered. She slightly giggled at me for some reason, causing my face to turn a light teal in response.
Damn, why's this happening just 'cause she just giggled. .
"Nothing really! Just exploring a bit." Grinning down at her, I saw she had a pink tint across her ears and cheeks.
"Huh, 'right then." I turned my gaze back down to her hand. "Oh, and before I forget, remind me later to rewrap your hand again for you."
"W-Well, you don't have to! It's about healed a-anyways, heheh." I smirked at her slightly flustered behavior.
I don't know why I insisted on helping her, but I did. "Nah, it's fine pipsqueak. Just try not to hurt yourself anymore, m'kay?"
A soft look of appreciation took over her face. "Okay, fine, you bonehead." Her face immediately changed to a slightly shocked expression, after letting the nickname slip out her mouth. I brought a hand up to my face to cover the now present blue blush.
"O-Oh, and by the way, I found the snow sculptures you and Papyrus made. I can't believe how good his was, a-and honestly, yours didn't surprise me." I chuckled lowly at her method to cover up the nickname she'd given me and lowered my hand from my face.
"Hey, don't ya mean skullptures?" My pun caused her to let out a little snort of laughter, which then caused her to bury her face into her scarf in embarrassment.
"That scarf looks nice on you by the way." I quickly commented, averting my eyes so I didn't have to say it directly to her face. My face quickly became warm even though it was still snowing steadily. Skeletons aren't even supposed to really feel temperature so then how'd I- (shhshhshhh just go w it :3).
Lowering her eyes to her feet, she mumbled a small, "Thanks. ."
"Welp, you should get a move on then, don't wanna keep Pap waiting." The words just slipped out of my mouth, and hearing them aloud, they sounded slightly passive aggressive, as if I was bothered by her and Papyrus' relationship.
Her face expressed disappointment(?) for a second, before she put on a smile. "Yep, I guess so. . Well, see ya!"
Shitshitshitshitshit—
Hurriedly, I quickly teleported to the other end of the path while she was looking down. Her eyes widened in shock as she saw me standing there.
Swiftly, she started to question me, stuttering out, "Wait, but- How'd you- You were just- WHAT?"
