HOLY GUACAMOLE! As SOON AS I posted the name voting thing and got flooded by Archie Gang protesters. I mean... I kinda wanted y'all to pick Archie, but damn. That quick? Anyways- I'll get on with the story. Y'all crack me up, haha.

Your POV

I walked into the house and sat on the couch.

"B/N is still at work," B/M said motherly. "Do you want to wait till she gets home?"

I nod.

"Ah, mija, that must've been so traumatic for you! Here- I make you dinner early. How about I make your favorite? Enchilada rancheras."

My eyes lit up slightly, "I would like that a lot."

I stare at the paperwork on the coffee table in front of me.

What have I gotten myself into? I thought exasperatedly.

Time skip brought to you by best Mama~~

"B/N should be home by now, the enchiladas are almost done cooking," B/M muttered with worry in her voice.

Not two seconds later did the door open loudly.

"Mama! I'm home!"

"Ah, mija! Welcome home! Look who came back!"

B/N walked around the corner and saw me on the couch, my hands on my knees. Tears filled her eyes and she practically ran towards me, almost tripping on the coffee table.

"Y/N!" she cried, pulling me into a giant bear hug. "Bestie, I'm so glad you are ok! You have no idea how scared I was, ok?! I thought I was never gonna see you again! I could barely focus on what the customers were saying!"

B/N works at the local StairBucs. She is quite the barista when it comes to coffee.

"Alright, alright, I'll explain everything after dinner."

More time skips brought to you by enchiladas~~

After dinner (which was very delicious if I do say so myself), I sat the two ladies down.

"After I was arrested... they brought me to a building. They interrogated me and gave me an offer. Either work for them and be their head techie, or be turned in to the authorities. I took the job," I gesture towards the paperwork on the table.

"Oh, mija," B/M started.

"Bestie, I'm so happy for you!" B/N laughed. "You have a job and you finally are gonna get out of the house more! And you get to do the things you love, like computers!"

Huh, I thought. I never thought of it that way. That's my bestie. Always on the bright side.

"Haha, thanks," I laugh with her. "Ah, well... I have to go fill this out."

I grab the papers and head to my room. I spent two hours trying to find all my information and writing stuff out. I think I mastered how to write my name ten times over. Eventually I finished, neatly stacking everything together and in order, and stapling it in the corner.

I walk over to my bed and flop down. Today has been a long flipping day.

The next morning brought to you by Jesus ✝~~

Meep meep meep meep!

I smacked my alarm and crawled out of bed.

"Ugh," I groaned. "First day on the job."
