-HER-

Ezekiel wasn't happy when he got to know about our plan of getting closer to the Drakonians through the tunnel. I wasn't surprised, of course.

Instead, he and Tryfon devised a plan that was far more dangerous and time-consuming— hiking around the mountains and sneak up to them in the night.

There was a clash on the plans which went on for almost half a day, wasting a big chunk of our time. I wasn't having it because they were undermining me and Lua again and again.

After going back and forth a lot by bickering and threatening each other, we finally came up with a new plan which was somewhat a combination of the two.

Our armies were divided into two. One would follow me into the tunnel and the other would go around the mountain under which the Drakonian's had set their camps. The latter would have to maintain a specific height while climbing in order to keep an eye on the Drakons easily.

This time, fortunately for me, Ezekiel and Tryfon were on a different team because I swear I'd have lost it if he were to come with me. He'd already made me lose a lot of brain cells in the past few days. I didn't feel like losing more.

I kept my distance from him but still, the tension remained in between us because at the end of the day we'd have to sleep under the same tent. I was just somehow tolerating him. We spent the next day revising our plans and studying the Drakon's activities and movements. It was a wonder how they'd failed to notice more than a thousand wolves and lycans hiding a mountain away.

Either they were acting to be oblivious of my wolves or my wolves were really good at what they were doing. I knew damn well that it was the latter.

It got very stormy that day when the sun started to set. Though this wasn't going to stop us. We packed up our things to head further north where the Drakon's camp was located. Just when we were leaving, Ezekiel came up to me.

"If anything happens, you're out of here," He growled at me.

"We'll see," I spat back at him and walked away. After a few moments, Nuessa joined me and I couldn't have helped but groaned out loud.

"I have to come or he'll kill us," She told me, shaking slightly maybe due to the stormy weather or maybe due to fear. Looking at her, I decided it was both.

When it was dark and stormy enough, we finally set out for North. Halfway to our destination, Ezekiel's army parted while we took a turn to get to the mountain that had the tunnel. It didn't take us long to get there.

I was feeling slightly anxious as we got nearer to the mountain, slaying a couple of monsters and ugly-looking creatures on the way. On the other hand, I could feel Lua getting more and more excited the closer we got to the mountain.

"I can't wait to see them!" She squealed like a child in joy when we were finally able to spot the mouth of the tunnel. She looked happy as if she was going to meet an old best friend instead of some basilisks who'd petrify her just by looking at her. "Wait here. I'll go inside first and see if they're there," Lua told me when we finally reached the mouth of the tunnel.

I already knew that they were there given the strange noises that seemed to be coming out of the tunnel. I got even more anxious but Lua got more and more excited.

"Alright," I responded but she'd already gone inside the tunnel and had disappeared in the darkness. I'd have thought twice before going in there

The strange noises in the tunnel got louder after a while and along with them, I heard Lua's grunts and growls. I was worried for her but by the noises that were coming from inside the tunnel, I decided that she was doing just as fine there.
