-HIM-

My eyes burned on her back as she walked out of the camp, swaying her hips from side to side. I couldn't tell if this was how she walked or if this was intentional. Maybe it was that damn dress that hugged her body like a second skin, leaving very little to my imagination. Seeing her in that thing always made my hands itch and my lycan stir inside me.

I watched her until she disappeared out of the camp. As soon as she was gone out of my sight, I turned to the Drakkon camp. It quiet and no one was in sight. Everyone seemed to be sleeping after a long night of celebrating their victory over the Valley, not knowing that this was just the starting.

Half of my plan seemed to have worked wonderfully here. Now, it was time to execute the second half of my plan. This part was much more complex and needed to be done accurately. We couldn't afford to err. Any kind of error would only push us back.

I went inside to find my lycans waiting for me. I had left the wolves out of this... for now.

"Attention everyone," I growled. Everyone was already alert and waiting. "It's time," I declared. That was all that I had to say before all my men were in action. Slowly, we left the structure and infiltrated the rest of the camp but before they could leave, I warned them, "Remember, spare the King and sixty-nine of his troops,"

Slowly, we went from camp to camp, killing whoever we could find in their sleep. It was a swift process for us since most of the Drakkons were either too drunk or tired due to celebrating all night but still, the camp was huge and we were being careful and taking precautions nonetheless.

"How many more are there?" I asked Tryfon when we met at the further eats of the camp. By now, one-fourth of the camp had been painted with blood. It took us a couple of hours to do so because there were just so many Drakkons here. It was as if the Drakkon king was planning on settling a whole colony here.

It was still early in the morning but we soon needed to get over with this before they wake up, otherwise, we would be in deep trouble.

"We still have three thousand more troops to kill," He informed me. I wasn't happy to hear the number but all I could do was instruct my men to work faster while I increased my speed as well.

"How many more are there?" I asked Tryfon after another couple of hours. It was starting to get closer to noon and the Drakkons would be waking up at any moment now.

"Four hundred and twenty more," Tryfon told me, "Why can't we kill them all?" He asked me soon after.

"If we kill them all, there wouldn't be a war. It would be considered a political murder by me and I have just too much on my plate right now," I gritted, "I want a war. A fair war that I could win," I told him. He nodded and left.

When I stepped into the next camp with my sword, I found an awake Drakkon warrior. He seemed to have just woken up and seemed to be getting ready to go for his duty on the post but he froze as soon as he saw me standing at the entrance of his tent with a bloody sword.

His eyes widened but before he could react properly, I had already leaped towards him, swinging my sword. I cut him in half even before he could make a noise. There were two other warriors in that same tent. They woke up as soon as they heard the noise of my sword slashing through that Drakkon's body.

I killed the second one instantly but before I could kill the third, he had already reached for a horn on his bedside. Though before he could blow it, my sword slashed through his neck. His head fell to the ground before rolling to my feet.

"They are waking up. We need to make this quick," I gritted to Tryfon when I met him after eliminating ten more troops. "How many more are there?" I asked Tryfon urgently.

"Hundred and fifty," He told me. I wasted no time going to the next tent to kill the Drakkons. I found the warriors awake there as well and before they could make a noise, I had already killed them but we couldn't do this for long.

We still had to kill hundred more troops when someone blew the horn, alerting the whole camp. I instantly finished my last tent before I started storming towards North where the Drakkon King's tent was located.

I instantly found him in front of his camp, waiting with his men in full fighting gear. Rage was painted on his face. He looked ready to go to war.

I was ready to go to the war.

This was war even if we were still not equal in number. Though that didn't matter anymore. There were only a hundred more Drakkons than us. I knew that my men were capable enough to deal with them.

As soon as the two of us came face to face, the Drakkon king gave out a war cry before clashing with me. I met him with the same energy, swinging my sword at him with all my might. My men who were behind me clashed with the Drakkons.

A full-fledged war had broken out in the camp already. Even though we were less in number, we were fighting with valor. The clash between the Drakkon king and I went on for a while. Both of us were equals and our clashes weren't resulting in anything. We were at a tie.

Though behind us, my men were already taking over the Drakkons. The night was nearing. It seemed like we were close to Victory when I saw a whole Drakkon army approaching from the north.
