Rewritten: Seven deadly sins

Episode Nine

Once we "handle" Gulia, we stop at a clearing near a pond for lunch. Diane keeps trying to shove a giant fish in Meliodas's mouth well King fawns over her.

"Dumbass she only pretended to be hurt so she could suck face with the captain" Ban say very drunkenly.

"Diane's not that kind of girl ok" King shouts back. Diane continues to hide behind her hair.

"Like you're any better" I joke looking at Ban, he looks back at me confused.

"When that mage did that thing to your immortality and you pretended your wounds were worse so i used kiss you" I explain.

"Well, it worked didn't it" he says wrapping an arm around my shoulders and pulling me closer.

"I'll give you that" I say turning to kiss his cheek.

"Speaking or seeing of which, I haven't asked yet, what is your relationship with this girl" King asks Meliodas.

"The lovers kind" Meliodas says reaching around groping Elizabeths chest.

"No, it's not" Elizabeth says worried.

"The grop and get groped kind" Meliodas says. Elizabeth tells him to stop and at this I quickly worm out of Bans grip and tackle Meliodas.

"What she is" I say turning my head slightly to King " Is a princess of the realm, you're the third one right" I ask Elizabeth sitting up a little.

"Yes, w-would you please get off of Sir Meliodas" Elizabeth answers and asks. I remove my knees from there place pinning down Meliodas legs. He rolls over onto his back as I stand up and i go to sit beside Ban but he pulls me into his lap. i don't make an effort to move, instead getting comfortable against Bans chest which smelled strongly of alcohol. Then King freaks about not knowing Elizabeth was a princess and changes into his other form. Ban spits out his drink and some of it lands on my head.

"Oh he changed his clothes" Meliodas says calmly, it was something he'd seen before though not as much as I had.

"That's not the only thing that's changed" Ban yells, careful as to not knock my off his lap. Elizabeth looks surprisingly normal, what over weird stuff has she seen. King goes back to his younger appearance and Ban yells at Meliodas some more. Elizabeth talks to King a little more and he asks about our sacred treasures.

"I lost mine" Diane says.

"Sold mine" Meliodas says.

"Mine was stolen" Ban says.

"Mine was left at the capital when we left" I say, as King looks at us all with disappointment. King then starts to explain a bit about what he had seen working with the holy knights.

"Let's back up a minute, you took the treasure that was given to you by King Liones himself and sold it" King say to Meliodas who respond with "I needed seed money for the tavern".

"Yours was stolen" King yells at Ban.

"When they through my butt into that prison" Ban respones.

"Im I a bad girl" Diane asks hiding behind her hair. I laugh a little as King rushes to tell her "No way, you and Gwen are the two who didn't do anything wrong". "Speaking of which" King continues reaching into his pillow and grading something and pulling out my cuff.

"Here it was in the armoury in the castle" King says handing it to me. I stand up from my comfortable place and I take it. I put it on my wrist as Elizabeth asks "Lady Gwen, I thought your signature weapon was a bow". I nod and move the cuff to my shoulder and at the placement my bow and sheath. She looks on in amazement as I retract the weapon, put it on my wrist again, turn it upside down and a long sword forms in my hand. Hawk asks King why we need sacred treasures and King explains using the lake as a metric.

We continue to talk and laugh till knight well sometime I drift off against a log. I'm woken up Ban setting me in our bed (A/n in this King just sleeps outside. Sorry King).

"Sorry I woke you" he say in a more serious tone then I would he expected given how much he's drunk. What time was it anyway and when did I fall asleep.

"Enjoying the view" Ban says with a chuckle as I realize in my trance I was staring right at him changing.

"No just lost in thought" I say trying to ignore the redness on my face.

"I have a question that I was going to ask outside but I'd thought I'd wait till we were alone" I say Ban stays silent as he slips into bed and faces me so I continue.

"Did you try to look for me" I ask.

"Yeah I did, that's all I did for two or three years and then I heard a rumour about you being killed by holy knights. That's when I let myself be captured by those knight who through me in prison" he say. i cuddle up onto his chest as he turns to look at the ceiling. "You broke our promise" I say.

"I'm sorry, I didn't know what else to do. I didn't have a mission I could focus on, I was alone" he say. That's well I realize how lucky Meli and I were to have each other, and all because Merlin needed someone to babysit him.

"Well now your not, but if we get separated again-",

"We wouldn't".

"But if we do you need to find another mission, one given to you or one you find yourself".

"Ok" he says simply, he knows he's not going to beat me in this argument.

"Ok, let's go to sleep".

"I love you".

"I love you more".

"Impossible".

I wake up the next morning with Ban still sleeping, he looks so peaceful. I make my way quietly out of the room and join Meliodas, King, Elizabeth and Hawk outside. Vaizel, the second best town for stealing, next to Ravens of course.

"Why do i have to stay and mind the bar?" Diane cries.

"Because ever since a giant went wild at there festival a few years back they've all been banned from town" Meliodas explains.

"I think I'll stay back too, it could be fun to have some girl time" Elizabeth offers.

"You two have fun with that" I shout as King, Ban, Meliodas and i walk over to the town. By the time we get there Ban is practically dragging me away from all the weapon and pastry stalls.

"At least she has her priorities straight" Meliodas jokes as Ban and I join them in front of Vaizel rock.

"Its Diane's Gideon" i say as we look at the giants hammer.

Before Ban could come back this a witty joke a shrill joke yells "all right its time for Vaizel's annual fighting festival to begin now". Of course Ban and Meliodas immediately jump at the chance for a fight, i don't mind it myself but Kings raising a ruckus.

"Let's win this and get Diane's sacred treasure back" Meliodas says.

"You got it captain" Ban says back.

"Finally an excuse to find out who the strongest sin it" I say. Ban and Meliodas look at me grinning and King looks terrified. This is turning out to be a pretty great day.
