Rewritten: Seven deadly sins

Episode four

Gwen POV 

Elizabeth and I put a cold cloth on Hawk's wounds.

"Elizabeth," I say trying to get her attention. She looks at me with fear in her eyes. "You ok," I asked as softly as I could. She nods and I walk outside.

"So Ban apparently got himself throw in jail and King is dead and buried by now, you believe any of that stuff," Meliodas asks. "The jail part yeah but I don't think the thing about King is true" I respond.

"I don't really care your the only man I have eyes for captain," Diane says.

"thanks a lot, friend," I say sarcastically.

"Sorry sometimes I forget you had to lose the man you love too," Diane says sheepishly.

"Alright, I've decided we're going to save Ban first and then go to the Necropolis," Meliodas says.

" Why are we going there first," Hawk asks.

"It's closer, plus Gwen's always been a better fight when Ban is around," Meliodas says.

I blush and respond "that's just because I know how he thinks, like you. It makes it easier to fight when you trust someone and can predict their movements" I say, I've given that speech too many times now.

"I don't think you should do this, I think tending to your injury should be our top priority" Elizabeth whisper shouts.

"It's alright a little sleep and I'll be good to go, g'night," Meliodas says.

"Worst scenario we find a doctor for Meliodas in town and I go to Baste alone," I say placing a hand on Elizabeth's back to comfort her. Elizabeth runs to check on Meliodas.

"Clingy isn't she," Diane says pouting.

"It's better than the captain being alone" I answer.

"I'm going to do some target practice around the back" I saw grabbing my bow from the porch and walking around to the target I had set up a few mornings ago.

I manage to get an ok training session in before Elizabeth start yelling about Meliodas passing out. Holy knight mode kicks in and Diane and I take the captain and move quicker towards the town. As much as I try to stop her Diane insists on entering the village and people, of course, run away. Once Elizabeth catches up she manages to convince Diane to stay put as the three of us find a doctor.

Once I ensure the captains ok I tell Diane "I'm going to start to head to the prison, with any luck I can move slow enough Ban will break himself out of prison". I make my way to the giant prison. as I walk I see a holy knight standing in my way.

"I am holy knight Freesia, who are you" she questions.

I grab my bow and aim "I'm seven deadly sin wolf sin, Guinevere of Danafor". I wish I could have seen her face but the fake confidence in her voice made me smile. "I-i see, w-well I will be the last face you see before I wipe you from the earth".

"I doubt that, now if you want to live could you make sure the fox sin knows we're coming for him," I ask hopefully.

"I'll let him know after my bugs have killed you and your companions," she says cracking her whip and making a storm of bugs appear. once the bug starts to swarm me I transform my bow into a long sword and summon some fire. the bugs are disintegrated after a few seconds. "No my precious babies" the holy knight cried. "You know I don't think I would ever let my children do my dirty work" I comment, laughing. Just as plan this riles her up and she lunges for me. I stab Freesia through the waist, lower than I meant to. this wound could't be life-threatening. "you idiot" the holy knight made a motion to do something but I used fire again and blasted her into a wall breaking it. Well looks like I found my entrance. I walk in and see the knight twitch a little. I take off her helmet and quickly break her neck. "thank you for the years" a whisper into her ear and start trying to find Ban.
