Rewritten: Seven deadly sins

Episode five and six

Gwen POV 

Any knight unfortunate to come across me is wiped out by flaming arrows. Normally I would take my time to kill someone but now I just want to find Ban. Each time an arrow pierces someone's heart I can feel the years rushing to my body. most of the knights give me fifty years, some give me thirty and a couple gives me five. At least I did have to worry about having my life die on me as much anymore. The prison shook a little. One of the sins is here. I turn a corner and see Ban talking to a holy knight.

"The pain has become boring," Ban says.

"You know it's incredibly rude to stab someone, especially a fellow holy knight," I say and Ban turns to look at me a little surprised and the holy knight sounds terrified.

"Wondered whether or not you would have can looking for me," Ban says as the holy knight backs into a wall.

"Sorry, would have come earlier but I just got the information, and where the hell you were" I respond.

The holy knight turns to try and run and I shoot him in the back.

"Still a great shot I see," Ban says making his way over to me and putting his hands on my waist.

"Will you stop with the flirting and kiss me already?" I say and he does. his hands stay on my waist and my hand immediately move to his shoulders.

"I really missed you," he says after we break away.

"Missed you too," I say.

We walk up to where I can feel Meliodas's power.

"It's pretty dammed helpful having someone with senses as keen as yours," Ban says.

"Thanks your not so bad your self" I smile. It's been so long since we've seen each other. We've never been the couple who couldn't spend a night alone, our job didn't allow for it back ten years was a long time. now I was content to just walk in silence beside him. We turn to the hall the rest of the team is in. Once we get close enough Ban stops walking, I keep moving.

"Ban," Meilodas says.

"Hey cap'n" Ban replies coldly.

"They both seem upset, I've got a bad feeling about this" Hawk says after a beat.

"you're right," I say standing next to Diane, "you might want to hide behind Diane". this earns a smile from Diane as Hawk runs behind her.

Then it starts the thing there do every time they haven't seen each other in a while, they smash each other into the wall. This place was nice for a prison it was going to be a shame to see it destroyed by two imbeciles. I start trying to estimate how high we are so I can use a rope to stop from injuring myself. I pause for a moment to ref the boys' arm wrestle. The prison crumbles and I use the last remaining wall. I shot an arrow with a rope tied around it. after the dust clears a little I repelled down the rope was slightly too short so I jumped down and Ban caught me.

"give me a warning next time," he says still holding me bridal style. "actually I didn't expect you to catch me, now could you please put me down," I say. Ban kisses me on the forehead and puts me down.

"let's head back to town and get Elizabeth looked at," Meliodas says.

We make our way to the doctors' house and bring the girl inside. I tend to Elizabeth and move her to Meliodas's room once we're back at the tavern.

"looks like you and Ban are gonna have to get back to sharing a bed," Meliodas says. Ban when into my room and passed out, not that I mine he needed some rest. "it's not like it's the first time captain" I respond. After everyone woke up Diane moved Elizabeth to the doctors' rooftop dining area and we waited for our meal. Meliodas filled the time with an introduction. I was sitting and the roof by Diane.

"Haven't seen you in a while Diane" Ban says.

"I'd have been perfectly happy going a hundred more years without seeing you again," Diane says turning her nose up. I jump up and use my bow to hit Diane on the forehead.

"Can we not start this again, right now?" I say, getting a defeated nod from Diane and a smirk from Ban. Ban bows in front of the still in bed Elizabeth with makes me giggle a little. I drift into thoughts of all the times I was alone with Meliodas and wishing for Ban. Sure the captain could make me laugh, but he was the only one who could actually make me giggle.

My thought is interrupted by Ban meeting Hawk. I laugh a little at Ban's amazement with something if grown to find so mundane.

"Come you need to eat before your dinner gets cold," the doctor says. we all race towards the table and start eating. We spend some time as friends. at this rate, it wouldn't be long till the eight deadly sins are back together, my family.

Hawk is dragging around a drunk Ban, Meliodas is watching laughing a little and Diane and Elizabeth are talking. that's when the doctor's daughter noticed the falling stars in a criss-cross pattern. I wondered if Merlin was watching this. She loved anything to do with prophecies. Merlin wouldn't ever admit it but I knew the time she has been happiest is when on our way home from a battle Gowther and I surprised merlin with a spellbook I had found in one of my bags, it had been a one of a kind. Merlin already knew the spells but having something so rare was special. especially when it came from friends.

The night when on and at some point we had all fallen asleep. I woke first and made my way back to the tavern to prepare for the day
