A/n: so I figured I would give you all a little list of backstory things that probably won't come into play soon. I have a flashback that I could rework to fit in these details but I want that story to be about relationship building not just exposition. Soooooo,

The daughter of the king and step daughter of the queen of Danafor. Little half brother named Lancelot who was the only family member she cared about.

Relationship:

-Early connections

Queen,

Cares for Gwen but doesn't love her. Is willing to listen to Gwen's requests and helps her become trained but most for Lancelot's protection then anything else.

King,

Extremely strict. Convinced Gwen will be a bad queen if she isn't the perfect women. Scared of what his goddess lineage will contribute to Gwen's power.

Mother,

A demon named Morgana, controls fire and is amazing with a bow. A brief affair results in Gwen's birth and when Morgana dies the king adopts Gwen do to having no heir.

Meliodas,

Friend of Meliodas because he trained her at the request of the queen despite her father saying she must be a proper lady (prompted by her using her powers/status to protect Zhivago in Ravens). Gwen helped Meliodas get Liz released after he told her about Elizabeth and the curse.

Elaine,

After a particularly hard mission Gwen finds herself in the fairy king forrest, in order to get a better view she climbs up to the fountain of youth and meets Elaine, after a quick conversation Gwen stays a few days. When Gwen returns years later she learns about her friends death and the man who saved the forest not realizing it was Ban. After learning about Bans connection to Gwen and remembering the way Gwen thought about him, Elaine doesn't tell Ban how she feels about him because she can tell Ban loves her friend. Not that that stopped Ban from realizing what Elaine feels or stopped Elaine from saving Ban's live.

Ban,

After protected Zhivago on a trip to Ravens when she was 15, Gwen travels to Ravens ever few years to visit which is where she meets and befriends little Ban. When she stopping his father from abusing him in their tavern Ban promises to protect Gwen the same way she protected him. When they meet a few years later Gwen knowing Ban was innocent, gave Meliodas and the other knights a reason to trust Ban.

Lancelot,

Gwen's little half brother the person she care's about the most in her early life. Gwen's sins was standing by as Meliodas destroyed Danafor, reality is she was trying to find her five year old brother (he died at Fraudrins hand) and found him dead, had an emotional meltdown, fought with Fraudrin and was almost gravely injured before Meliodas destroys Danafor.

-During the sins

Ban,

Often having to clean up his messes (along with King), Gwen grows her relationship with Ban (and King). Well, he asks about what your sin is you tell him and he tells you about Kilia. After a near death experience in the ruins of Belialuin Ban and Gwen realize their feeling towards each other and being dating.

Diane,

Becoming fast friends, Gwen tries and fails to get Diane to fall for King instead of Meliodas. Diane is slightly envious of Gwen's postion as Meliodas's right hand but doesn't act of it because she knows Gwen in much stronger then her and wouldn't abuse her relationship with their captain.

King (Quin),

After meeting King, Gwen builds a relationship with him and they bond other their relationships with Elaine. Cleaning up Ban's messes together only brought you closer and Gwen would do anything to help King.

Meliodas,

Quickly falling back into a rhythm as knight and comrades, Gwen does everything she can to help Meliodas get over the past.

Merlin,

Helping Merlin with what she could (which isn't much) Gwen didn't really have a need for being friends with Merlin, though they are on good terms.

Escanor,

Knowing what it was like to be looked at with fear, Gwen empathized and helped to control day time Escanor and did her best to listen to night time Escanor.

Gowther,

Gwen has little patience for anyone but Gowther. Helping Gowther to understand what was happening at any given time was a job Gwen was happy to accept. Gowther would often listen to Gwen vent and then discuss her emotions with her to understand them, often leading to Gwen better understanding the emotions better herself.

Veronica,

Well, Meliodas was teaching Gil how to fight Gwen were teaching Griamore and after a little while princess Veronica joins the training (without the king's permission at first but after Elizabeth lets it slip, he allows it). Gwen think it's imported for anyone who wants to to learn how to fight to be allowed to, remembering how Meliodas taught her how to fight at the request of her stepmom.
