CHAPTER ONE

//FREYA'S POV

The village's covered court
8:48 pm

"Oh. We're a little bit early" Minnie said as we walk inside our village's covered court.

She's holding her bag of potato chips while I'm holding my bag of popcorn and canned Coca-cola in my other hand.

As we walk inside I immediately notice the huge amount of people. I see a lot of girls. Most of them are squealing in excitement, including my best friend. I can also see a bunch of people holding their banners saying "MARRY ME! (with an unfamiliar surname of a player)". Oh did I mention this already? Some hormonal teenagers are holding their banner saying "IMPREGENTE ME (again with an unfamiliar surname of a player)"

"Oh my gooooosh! They're so gonna win this game!" Minnie and pulled me towards our chair.

We sat at our respective seats. We can clearly see the whole court from here because it's a little bit high.

Minnie squealed again and hugged me

"Thank you for coming with me today" she said and shook my shoulder causing me to feel dizzy

"Minnie! Stop! Damn girl, are you trying to remove my brain or what?" I said and pushed her lightly

She gave me a sweet smile and opened her bag of chips

I opened my snack and looked around again

I can't see anything that catches my interest so I took my phone out of my pocket and checked my social media.

A couple of minutes later I hear the speaker calling the teams that will play for tonight

I can feel Minnie shaking in excitement and was about to shake me again when I stopped her

"Calm your butt Minnie" I said and laughed at her

"How?!?! My boyfriend is so hot! Didn't you see how he winked at me?! Did you see that?!" She dramatically said and squealed

Geez, I swear. Someone needs to cover her mouth.

I didn't watch the game because I was too busy with my phone. I want a new song to be added to my playlist tonight. I took out my earphones from my bag and searched for a song.

I can hear people shouting how they love the players. And I can hear people screaming how dumb the players are. Some are squealing. Guess what? Minnie's one of them.

I furrowed my eyebrows because I can't find a perfect song for my playlist. I groaned in frustration but eventually smiled when my eyes landed on "Enchanted by Taylor Swift". I listened to it for a couple of seconds and decided to download it but my attention was shifted to the people shouting "OOOOOOOHHHHHH!!!!"

I looked at them and they are wearing pained expressions

I raised my eyebrows and looked towards the court

A player is on the ground clutching his knee. I immediately noticed his raven hair.

His face shouts how much he is hurt

"That must be painful" I whispered

"Idiot. Of course, that's painful. But I don't care he's not in my boyfriend's team anyway. GO THEO MY LOVE!!! WOOHOO!!!" Minnie shouted

I looked at her with an annoyed face

"Why are you my best friend again?" I asked her

She slapped my shoulders and glared at me
