"BARBEQUE! BARBEQUE!" My teammates together with Minnie and my girlfriend chanted as we walk towards my house

We won another basketball game. I don't like to brag, but our crew is fantastic. Particularly me. Kidding!

Freya, on the other hand, always assures me that I'm the best, thus...

Hah! I wish you could find a girlfriend as nice as mine.

As I opened the entrance to my house, I wrapped my arm over my girlfriend's shoulder. Because we won, Mom and Dad asked us all to a BBQ celebration. Even if we didn't win, they'd probably have a party.

That's how supportive they've been since Freya approached my father.

"Mom! Dad! We're here!" I shouted and guided my teammates and friends to our backyard where we spotted my parents making barbeques

"GOOD EVENING MR AND MRS. MACQUARRIE!" They cheerfully greeted my parents in unison making my parents giggle

"BARBEQUE! BARBEQUE!"

and we all chanted again

"Mrs. Macquarrie, the girls are swooning over your son. He has a tremendous heartthrob appeal!" One of my teammates exclaimed as we eat our barbeques. 

My mom chuckled and gave my father a can of beer

"is that true Nicholai?" My mother asked me

I shook my head quickly

"No! They're just..supportive?" I answered

"Freya must be having a hard time shooing your side chicks away, huh?" Dad said and wiggled his eyebrows

"Dad--"

"That's mostly true Mr. Macquarrie! I wish that you could see how Freya's nose let out a cloud of smoke as if she's using a vape whenever girls are all over your son." Minnie said, earning laughs from the people around me

"Hey! That's not true!" Freya said and glared at her best friend

"so you're the jealous type huh?" I asked my girlfriend with my teasing tone and poked her sides making her glare at me too. 

"No! I'm not--"

"SHE DEFINITELY IS.," my teammates and I said in unison

We all spend the night eating barbeques until our stomachs are full.

"Where's Freya?" I asked Minnie when I noticed my girlfriend is nowhere to be found

She shrugged

"I don't know. Restroom maybe?" She said and continued talking to Theo

I decided to look for her inside our house

"Dad, have you seen Frey--"

"You miss her already? I saw her walking inside your room. Maybe checking for Loki." He said and pats my shoulder

"Thanks, dad!" I thanked him as he walks past me

"No prob! And don't be so clingy! She'll be disgusted!" He joked causing me to scrunch my nose

Hah! As if she'll leave me.

I smiled as I saw my father walking towards mom.

I decided to go upstairs in my room to check on Freya

I saw her laying on my bed with closed eyes. Loki on her side

"Gorgeous," I called her with a smile on my face.
