Moving in Part 3

You: Who's in charge of the rooms?

Steve: No one.

You: Then who's in charge of the building?

Tony: That would be me.

You: Alright. I need to speak to you alone.

Everyone left the room and you speak to Tony.

You: Mr Stark, I have some requests for the rooms if you will. It's something I need and it's something I don't want disclosed.

You hand him a piece of paper before walking out. Everyone is waiting outside for you.

Wanda: Shall we go then?

You look at her before walking back to your office. You grab your file and stationery and put it in the box. Not forgetting your calculator of course. (hahaha)

You have tons and tons of files because you have to document everything when you do the audit working papers.

You: So, you're not originally from here huh.

Wanda: How do you know?

You: I sense that you talk slightly differently from the rest.

Wanda: I'm originally from Sokovia.

You: I see. Are you going to help or are you here to watch? I have 3 stacks of boxes and I can't carry them all by myself.

Wanda: I'll help you carry them all.

You were still confused about what she meant until she used her powers to lift the boxes.

You blank out then you said.

You: You do more than read minds.

Wanda: Yes.

*back at the compound*

Steve: Tony said your room is not done yet but your work area is ready. Why don't you put your things down and I'll introduce you to the team.

Wanda helps you to put your stuff in the work area and after organizing everything, you head back down.

Steve: Alright. I heard from Wanda that you don't know any of us. I'm Steve, this is Natasha. Both of us specialise in hand-to-hand combat. Tony, the genius, billionaire with technology. Bruce, who goes big and green and also the doctor here. Bucky, with the metal arm, great at fighting. Sam, or the Falcon, he can fly with his suit on. Vision, the human computer. Clint, our bow and arrow guy, has a very good eyesight. We also have Thor, the god of lightning but he's not here today. We also have other friends but they appear less often.

You: Got it.

Wanda: Why don't you head to bed first, it'll be a long day tomorrow. Don't forget about your blood tests.

You: Thank you.

However, instead of sleeping you went straight to work. Not forgetting about the call you received earlier from your colleague. Not being in the same environment makes it harder for you to concentrate. You took a long time to finish work and by the time you were done, it was already dawn. Instead of sleeping and risking being late for work, you head to the roof to refresh yourself with the cool wind.

Around 8am, you walk back down and bump into Nat.

Nat: You're up early. Came from the roof?

She looks over your shoulder.

You: Yeah. I could say the same for you.

Nat: This is my usual time.

You: I was thinking of heading to Dr. Bruce, do you think he is ready?

Nat: He should be in his lab. Let me show you where it is.
