Third mission Part 19

Wanda: Hey wake up *shakes you* wake up! God this person is a deep sleeper.

You: I'm up, I'm up. God, my head. Can we not drink if we are going to wake up early in the morning?

Wanda: I thought you drink to sleep.

You: No, I work to sleep. Only on weekends when I have no work, I need to drink.

Wanda: Anyways, it's time for the briefing. We are almost late.

You: Oh shoot.

You went to change and head to the meeting in a hurry.

Fury: This will be a large-scale mission with people in different places. We want to strike it at the same time to catch them off guard. Tony with Nat, Steve with Wanda and Clint with Vision and Bruce.

You: What about me?

Fury: You'll be staying here until we find more confirmation.

You: Ok.

Everyone went to prepare themselves.

You: I really like how you don't have to prepare like the rest. We get a few more moments to ourselves.

Wanda: Yeah, but I am worried about you staying here alone again.

You: There is nothing I can do on site anyways. I am more worried about you. You could be walking into the heart of danger for all I know.

Wanda: I'll be fine. Besides, Steve will be there too.

You: Be careful.

Wanda: I got to go, see you soon.

She kisses you before leaving.

3 jets set off and you started working, segregating 3 different sections for each of them. You made sure you can see their location.

You: Alert me when you reach.

All of them: Landed

You: I didn't know the jet was this fast. Ok. Tony, there is only one entrance so proceed with care. Steve, there should be an opening at the top. Clint, just walk straight in. Let me know if you see anything.

Them: Copy

You: Remember guys, the place you are at used to be some sort of military or training ground so look out for odd spaces and traps

Tony: My place is active, there are people here.

You: Steve and Clint?

Clint: There are traces of people but no one.

You: Ok, Bruce, try to collect all the information.

Bruce: I'm trying.

You: Steve? Wanda? Guys, do you hear anything from them?

Steve: Yup we're good. I think there is a jammer nearby.

You: Clint, after getting the information, head to Steve's location.

Clint: Copy.

You: How's the situation Nat? Do you need backup?

Nat: Nothing we can't handle.

You; Ok. I'll head over to Steve's position first. The jammer could be a clue.

You pack everything up and fly over to Steve's location.

You take out some equipment to figure out where the jammer is. As soon as you find the jammer, you try to disable it.

You: Guys can you hear me?

Tony: Yes.

You: Is there anything of interest there Tony? You are a genius, you should be able to handle things there.

Tony: She calls me a genius. Yeah I got it.

You: Did you manage to find anything else on the second location?

Wanda: We did see some electronics but they are not plugged in.

You: Bruce can you help them?

Bruce: I am already on it.

You: Ok, heading your way.

Bang!

You: Um guys, you didn't clear outside before heading in?

Wanda: Y/N?

You couldn't answer back.
