Chapter. 33

You were all getting ready in the burrow together for Bill and Fleur's wedding. You were wearing the bright red dress that you didn't get to wear at the yule ball. The mood was all very weird, we were all excited for a bit of celebrating, since everything lately had been very dark.

It had also been quite the scare when you had picked up Harry from the Dursley's house and George had been attacked. The memory kept replaying in your head.
  "What you thinking about?" George said interrupting your thought, but only for a second. As your eyes immediately landed on the bandage covering his ear.
  "I am okay I promise." He said when he realised what you were thinking about. You just wrapped your arms around him and he held you tight.

The wedding was beautiful and Fleur looked absolutely stunning in her wedding dress.
  "Thank you everyone for being here today." Bill started his speech.
  "We know that the times is changing, and we are soon entering a war, but we appreciate you being here and celebrating with us." Bill continued as you stood with George's arm wrapped around your waist holding you tight. Bill looked towards you and George.
  "And lastly I would like to give the word to my brother, George." Bill said and stepped away gesturing for George to take the floor.

George stepped up letting go of your waist. He had a weird smirk slash grin on his face, but was also slightly shaking from nerves.
  "What is he doing?" You whispered to Fred, there also had a smirk on his face.
  "Wait and see Black." He said and you immediately knew that they were up to something.
  "It is wonderful being here. A couple of years ago this girl completely turned my head." George started and you immediately blushed.
  "Who could that be?" Fred shouted making everyone laugh, and you blush even harder.

George waited a moment letting the laughter die down before he continued.
  "She is a lady, and I am just a boy." He said and smiled at you
  "Y/n would you like to join me?" He asked gesturing for you to join him on the floor in front of all your friends and family.
  "What are you doing George?" You asked laughing nervously as you walked over and joined him.

There was silence for a moment, and then George kneeled down, and a couple of gasps could be heard around the room.
  "Y/n Evans Black would you like to marry me?" He said, and you yourself gasped in surprised, as he presented a ring to you that you know had taken him a while to save up to.
  "Yes, yes of course." You finally exclaimed when you came over your surprise. George placed the ring on your finger, and you hugged tightly before sharing a light but meaningful kiss.
  "Finally, I thought he would never ask." You heard Fred mutter under his breath.

George and you started to walk around, around guests as people started to mingle again.
  "Congratulations you two." Remus said getting your attention as you and George walked over to him and Tonks.
  "You will be walking me down the aisle, right?" You asked, and you could see Remus almost shred a tear.
  "Of course my dear." He said as you jumped into his arms.

You step back after hugging him tightly, and he shook George's hand.
  "Will you go dress shopping with me?" You asked turning to Tonks, there looked surprised and excited that you included her in your wedding plans.
  "Of course." She said as she now jumped into your arms.

You laughed and talked for a bit, but then you were suddenly interrupted by a patronus. Everything turned quite as the patronus spoke.
  "The ministry has fallen, I repeat the ministry has fallen."
