You woke up still mad at George, and still down about him not asking you to the yule ball. You were a bit late for breakfast, so the twins were already there. You made eye-contact with them as you entered the great hall, but sat down with Hermione, Harry and Ron instead. Even though they were younger than you and also found it weird that you sat with them they let you.

You started eating your breakfast like nothing was wrong. George came over and sat down next to you on the other side of where Hermione is sitting.
"Can we talk?" He asked half whispering, but the others heard his request as well. You just ignored him.
"Did I do something?" He asked pleadingly, and you almost felt sorry for not answering him.
"I think it is more like what you didn't do." Harry responded, and George furrowed a brow confused.
"Like you didn't invite her to the yule ball." Hermione said to clarify.
"Seriously, you didn't ask her." Ron chuckled and everyone glared at him annoyed, by his immaturity.
"Shut up, Ronald." George said, before turning to you again.
"I just thought that we were together, so there was no reason to ask you." George said his voice soft and sad.
"You could have at least mentioned it like asked what I was going to wear." You said, for the first time really looking at George.
"I am sorry, but will you please go to the yule ball with me?" George pleaded.
"I don't know, are you sure Fred is going to survive on his own?" You joked back, making George let out a light chuckle.
"He already invited Angelina." George laughed, making you laugh as well.
"Yes, I would like to go to the yule ball with you." You answered his question, and he kissed you on the forehead.

You had brought two dresses one cobalt blue and one bright red. You were getting ready in your room with Ginny and Hermione.
"Which one should I choose?" You asked, even though you had been thinking about what dress to pick for like a week now you still couldn't choose.
"They both look amazing on you, but the blue would fit better into the decorations, without blending in." Ginny said as she started doing Hermione's hair.
"Okay, then blue it is. It not me there is dancing with Victor Krum anyways." You said glaring at Hermione, there let out a nervous laugh.

You did each other's hair, before Ginny met up with Neville in the common room, Hermione went to the great hall to meet up with Victor, and you waited patiently at the stair for Fred and George. After a while of waiting on your own you were joined by Angelina waiting on Fred.
"You look amazing." She said trying to start conversation.
"Thank you, you too." You answered politely.
"I am sorry we haven't talked, after everything with you father I just-" She started rambling, but you interrupted her.
"It is fine." You simply said not wanting to talk about your dad, who you have basically cut off at this point.
"No it is really not." She said and then just hugged you. You both started laughing and then the twins finally came down.
"What are you two laughing about?" George asked with a smile.
"Nothing." You both said in unison.
