You picked up the letter and opened it while sitting on your dad's bed.

To my dear y/n

I don't know how to apologise to you. I came back after so many years, and you are all grown up. You seem so fine, living your best life not needing your dad. Remus told me about your first time casting a Patronus, how excited you get when it finally worked for you.

Remus also told me about how excited you first were to start at Hogwarts. I wish I could have been there to tell you all the stories from when I attended. I might not have been there in the first part of your life, but I promised that from now on I am going to be there through every moment.

I am going to be there when you eventually one day marry George, he seems like a good kid, don't tell him that I told you that. I am going to be there when you guys have your first kid together, I am excited to see if it is going to have your dark raven black hair or George's vibrant red hair.

From this moment and forward I will never leave you, I will always be here for you and for Harry. And I am so incredibly proud of the young woman you have become.

Sincerely your dad
Sirius Black.

A few of your tears fell down onto the letter and you put the letter away not wanting to ruin it. You looked up to see Remus standing in the doorway looking at you.
"Did you know about this?" You asked your voices breaking at almost every word. He nodded a bit hesitantly and you ran past him and up to your room locking the door after you only wanting to be left alone.

You laid on your bed watching the day pass, then the sun goes down and rise again, until you finally passed out from exhaustion. Occasionally Remus or Tonks would knock on the door and ask if you were okay, but you wouldn't answer. They knew they could unlock the door if they really wanted to, but they wanted to give you some privacy to grieve.

Remus and Tonks didn't sleep much that night they sat in the kitchen, and was disturbed around 9 AM, by the door opening. They went to check who it was and saw the Weasley twins enter rather upset and worried.
"Where is she?" George asked panting completely out of breath.
"She is in her room, been there since yesterday." Remus said, and Fred and George ran up the stairs as fast as they could.

They stopped in front of your door, and waited a bit silently arguing about who should knock until George knocked.
"Y/n open the door please." He said, but you didn't answer just kept staring out of the window exhausted and heartbroken.
"Y/n we are coming in now." This time it was Fred who spoke. And just liked he had said they came in after unlocking the door.

You felt the weight shift on the bed and the both sat down behind you. Somebody moved some of your hair out of your face revealing your red teary eyes.
"It is going to be okay." George whispered stroking your hair as you fell asleep.
