stella brookes was a young outgoing girl who was best friends with freddie mercury ever since he moved to london with his family. she was a musician who played gigs ever so often at the college down the road. but when freddie mercury requests she sings a song before his band, smile, everything in her life changes for the better.
stella was a powerful, brave, and smart girl who spoke her mind all the time, she stood up for what was right and never backed down from an argument or debate. she was constantly busy writing songs, getting piano lessons from freddie or singing in her bedroom. the music helped her cope with the loss of her mother, who died only a few months back, it let her get lost in the rhythm and emotion.
she was quite an intelligent girl. she could work out problems or small issues that the band faced, but one thing she couldn't seem to pick up on was his or her feelings. but luckily for stella, her best friends are there to help her, while at the same time they're helping him to knock up the courage to do something about the feelings he has for the singer.
