The Light In The Shadows (Book 2!)

The Way Through

The Sleigh rode through the wind like it was the wind, Rapunzel's bright blonde hair flew behind it, along with Toothless and Maui.  "This is just like our flying Carriage," Amber said, but then she and Sofia noticed James looking for something.

 "James, what are you looking for?" Sofia asked.  "Where he keeps the presents, of course," James said.  "Ugh, of course, you are" Amber scoffed at her younger twin brother.  "Hehe, oh James" Sofia giggled.

North led the Sleigh with precision, but soon, he saw something bright blue in the distance.  "What's that?" Jack asked.  "I don't know," North asked.  "It's not Pitch or Facilier," he said as the Sleigh slowed down, but soon, harsh wind flew by, pushing them into.

The minute they flew through the blue energy, North's sleigh started to shake and Hiccup and Maui started to feel weird.  "What's happening?" North asked as his Sleigh got so rocky, they had to hang on not to fall off.  "I don't feel so good," Maui said, feeling a little sick, like something inside him was slowly draining.  "You okay, buddy?" Toothless, but he only responded with a groan.

Soon, the Sleigh, Maui, and Hiccup started falling from the sky and to the ground.  "Maui!" Moana screamed.  "Toothless, wake up!" Hiccup urged his dragon, but they didn't move, they just kept falling.  "There has to be another way!" Sofia said, but suddenly, Rapunzel's hair circled around her, Maui and Toothless. 

Hiccup was careful, but he was able to make his way back to the Sleigh.  "That blue magic must've done something to and flying objects or creatures!" Tooth said.  Sandy used his gold sand to point an arrow at Tooth.  "Your right, thank goodness I didn't fly!" She said.

Rapunzel's hair that created a ball around the Sleigh, Toothless and Maui slowly started to glow a bright gold.  "It's so beautiful!" Amber said.  "Won't this hurt you?" Sofia asked, but Rapunzel assured them that she would be just fine.

Suddenly they heard a big bang, and Maui and Toothless collapsed on the ground, soon Rapunzel's hair turned back to its blonde state and fell on everyone.  "Sorry" She laughed.

As Rapunzel placed her hair into her braided state, the crew were so happy when they saw Maui and Toothless rise from the ground.  "Your okay!" Moana happily embraced Maui with a big hug, while Hiccup also happily embraced his dragon.  Jack started to chuckle, but then he noticed North had a sad look on his face.  "North, what's up?" He asked.  "The Sleigh," North started, with sadness in his voice.

"It's broken."

The guardians looked at the Sleigh, it was broken, the bottom was ripped, and some other parts had tears.  Rapunzel placed her hand on his shoulder.  "Don't worry" Jack said as he brought out a snowglobe and smashed it on the ground, the Sleigh fell in.  "I'm positive the Elves can fix it."

"Where are we?" Eugene asked.  They landed in the forest.  "Wait, look at that" Anna looked in the distance and she saw...an Arendellian flag.

Anna ran to the flag, with her friends behind her, and she was in shock at what she saw.  "A ship from Arendelle.  "What is it?" Jack asked.  "I'm not sure," Anna said, but one thing that she was sure about it, is that she quickly ran to it and entered the shipwreck.  

Everyone was broken, spattered everywhere, wrecked.  "Look for something, anything!" Anna said as they searched the ship, Jack found another crystal, this one was black.  "What does black stand for?" he asked, but Elsa gasped at what she saw and answered his question.

"Darkness."

"Why would mother have a darkness crystal?" Anna took the crystal from Jack's hand.  "I don't know," Elsa said.  "Wait, Anna, look!" Merida said.  As the black crystal got closer to the other blue and pink crystals, blackness formed in them.

"It's like Pitch" Bunny said.  "As Pitch gets closer to the light, he tries to consume it with darkness."  "We need to get to that island quickly!" Anna said.  "Wait, look at this!" James handed her a note from...Queen Iduna.  "What does it say?" Elsa asked.

Dear soldier...

You are my most trusted soldier and knows about Elsa's magical abilities, I have sent you on this journey to Spirit island to find out more about my daughter, why she doesn't have the same majestic powers like her older sister, Elsa.  Anna has aburn hair and was born in the Summer Solstice.  Unfortunately, an accident has happened, Elsa accidentally strikes Anna in the head with her magic, rendering her unconscious and turning a streak of her hair platinum blonde, causing Elsa to hide her powers from her sister.  I fear that if my youngest daughter has powers, the accident caused them to not show.  I cannot come on the journey because I am preparing for a journey of my own, I want to travel to Spirit Mountain to not only find out about Elsa's powers but discover if Anna has powers of her own and if the ice to her head somehow affected them.

"She sent a guard to find out the truth about me" Anna gasped at the news, she couldn't believe her mother was this determined to find out the truth about her.  "But how did she find the black crystal?" Elsa asked.  "You guys in Arendelle write notes a lot, this is like, what the 3rd one we found?" Maui asked as he handed another note to Anna and she read it aloud.

You Majesty

I have located the island, but something's in there, something dark, something that's pure evil, I was able to grab a black crystal that represents darkness.  It's after me, I don't have much time, whatever you do, please don't...

"It ends," North said.  "Guess he should've written faster," Merida said.  Anna became nervous, she did wanna venture to the island, but she didn't wanna face what lies ahead, it sounded like it was something you don't wanna mess with, worst than Pitch.

"Let's go," Anna said as they ran out, ready to face what lies ahead
