~Chapter 7~

Killua blushed furiously and twisted violently, shoving his face into the chair. "FUCK YOU" Gon giggled. "maybe later~" Killua screeched and smacked him in the face without looking, causing him to fall off the chair. "ow" he stood up and turned to see their home room teacher standing there with his arms crossed. "why aren't you two in class" he sighed. "well. Kat decided to adopt a child so we went to go check on her. Killua huffed and turned back around, trying to calm his red face. "that does not explain what you were doing when I walked in" he sat down on Killua's lap again, making him growl a little. "stop it" he ignored him for now, glancing up at the teacher. "this idiot doesn't want to show affection in front of other people, so I decided since there was nobody here I'd give it a shot" Killua sighed heavily. "Goddamn it Gon. I hate you sometimes" he smirked. "I know you love me" Killua growled and he giggled a little. "you guys are 25 minutes late to class" he snapped. Gon blinked. "Oh" Killua sighed. "I know you've never gone to school before, but that's a bad thing" he rubbed the back of his head. "sorry?"

Killua shoved him off his lap, making him stumble a little. "now, what is this about adopting a child?" Gon tugged Killua into a standing position and put an arm around him. "get off me" he ignored him. "well, kitkat here has a soft spot for abused children" Eraserhead stiffened a little. "wait, there's no way you have legally been assigned as her guardian" Killua rolled his eyes, "I don't give two fucks, she's mine now." he facepalmed. "do you realize, that you pretty much kidnapped a child?" he blinked. "excuse me? I did no such thing." Eraserhead sighed heavily. "if you want me to permit her stay in the dorm rooms I have to see her and make sure what you say is true" Gon shrugged, "whatever" Killua rolled his eyes. "why's it so damn hard to believe" Gon giggled. "you probably haven't had good interactions with children for the last couple years" he huffed. "damn right, ungrateful brats stealing my shit" he dragged Gon up the stairs and his teacher followed him.

As soon as he opened the door he heard a gasp and his eyes snapped up. Eri was standing up on the bed for some reason, and he had startled her into falling. Without thinking he bolted and caught her bridal style, nearly knocking Gon over on his way. "woah!" he sighed, setting her gently down on the bed. "you ok little blueberry?" Eri nodded. "yeah, sorry" Gon walked over and chuckled a little. "talk about a big brother's instinct" Killua stroked her hair a little. "sorry for scaring you-" suddenly her eyes went wide and she gasped, hiding behind him and clutching his uniform tightly. "eh?" Gon glanced behind them and sighed. "that's Mr. Aizawa, our teacher" she stopped shivering for a second and looked up at him. Killua gave her a small smile and she stopped trembling all together. "not gonna hurt me?" he shook his head. "no, and if he does I'll do the same thing I did last time" Gon shot him a glare but he ignored it. I don't give a fuck if he's my teacher, if he hurts Eri I will kill him. He sat down next to Eri and she crawled over to sit in his lap, peering curiously at Aizawa. He examined her for a moment. "this question might be weird, but I need confirmation " he knelt down and looked her in the eye. "did these two boys kidnap you?"

Killua resisted the urge to roll his eyes. Dear god, why can't he just accept it? "kidnap me?" she glanced up at him. "no, Oni-chan saved me and scared off the bad man" she reached up and gave him a hug. "I love him" he felt himself start to tear up a little and he hugged her back tightly, ignoring the curious look from his teacher. Damn it, I miss Alluka. Gon put a hand on his shoulder and he sighed, wiping his eyes. "Eri doesn't trust people, especially adults" he pointed a finger to the bandages that he hadn't tried to remove yet, he wouldn't be able to keep his bloodlust in if he had. "the man who claimed to be her father did that to her" Eri pulled back from the hug and looked up at him. "Oni-chan?" he smiled down at her softly. "yes Eri?" she paused for a few seconds. "can I..." she trailed off. "you can ask me for anything" he said and Eri's eyes brightened. "can I have one of the sweet ball stick things again?" he chuckled, reaching into his pocket for one. "their called Lollipops, is there a flavor you want?" she nodded. "apple" I'm making a mental note to buy more of those, Eri likes apples. He sifted through his pocket and eventually found one. He unwrapped it and offered it to her. "here" she took it gently and stuck it in her mouth. "Mh" Gon awwed at him. "your such a good big brother" he shot him a glare. "Fu-" he paused. "screw off please"
