After Kibo sensed and killed the stranger under the trash, he got patted and earned his food back! Kibo hadn't gotten to eat in a few days because he never killed quick enough, but he could finally have some food! "time to head back" Lupo said. He nodded, then reached up to the device he always carried. It could do many things, although he only knew where a few buttons were and what they did. The device was small and compact, fitting about the size of his hand. Lupo's hands were kind of big though, or maybe it just seemed that way to him? Anyways, they were color coded and had a symbol. The white with the red waterdrop was the clean button, he didn't know where the blood went but it disappeared into the object. The black with the green waterdrop was the needle button, he also didn't know where the liquid came from, but there was a smaller green one next to it that made the needle inject the substance into him. Another button was white with a blue circle on it, when he pressed that button one of his treats came out of the bottom. The last button that he knew the use for was the brown one with a black line, that was the one he pressed. His leash came out and he slipped his collar on his neck, then attached it. A few times Kibo had tried to run away so he told him that unless working, he should be on his leash. It wasn't uncomfortable, but he didn't like it either.
Kibo had to deal with discomfort all the time, so it wasn't exactly hard though. Kibo preferred to walk on all fours for some reason, it just felt natural. He made sure to walk a step behind Lupo, and to keep pace with him. He got mad if he didn't keep pace, but for some reason he didn't want him to stand right next to him either. He thought he heard something, but if he stopped to look than Kibo might be scolded for slacking. It sounded like an animal anyways. Kibo was still supplied with birds and rabbits to sink his claws into, that was something he always looked forward to after a job. He winced as a jagged stone cut into his palm, then used his quirk to make his hands scaled. Kibo's quirk was actually kind of rare, it was two mixed together. His quirks were Scale manipulation and Dragon. Scale manipulation allowed him to add a layer of scales over any given part of his body. He had to have some scales on at all times though, and harder scales required more effort to summon and maintain. This quirk also gave him his first set of horns, the ones that were closer to his forehead. It also gave him permanently scaled feet, which meant he couldn't wear shoes. He hadn't actually tried really hard to change his feet back into human ones, but it didn't work like it did with his hands. His second quirk gave him the tail and the other set of horns. He was told that he was going to have wings like his father, but he didn't have them for some reason. Also he was supposed to breath fire, but when he tried all that came out was a puff of smoke.
His mother had emerald scales, and his father had black, which was why his own were a dark green color. He was taught how to make his claws sharper by spiking the scales on it and making them jagged as well. Kibo and Lupo arrived at the house, it was pretty big and looked normal on the outside, but he didn't actually live in the house itself. As soon as they walked through the door, he unclipped his collar and sat obediently in a small crawl place. Lupo patted him on the head, "good work today Kibo, I'll make sure to send down food and some bigger prey for you" he nodded, resisting the urge to bounce and wiggle around in happiness. Lupo didn't like when he did that, but he couldn't stop the gleam in his eyes as he pressed the button and he started to go down.
