"you want to know why I killed him?" those sapphire eyes narrowed slightly and his hands sharpened even further. "Child abuse, you'd better start running bitch" wait, he's saving me? This guy is saving me? But, he couldn't let his father die. If his father died mother would cry, and he did love his mother when she was sober. "WAIT! STOP!" he yelled, swallowing his fear and grabbing his arm. The white haired male turned his head and he paused, eyes softening a little from their rage as he looked at him. "is there something you need?" his voice, it's so kind... "y-you can't k-kill him" Kessho's hand started to tremble as he frowned slightly. "but why not?" he moved his position to partially hide behind him as his father growled, reaching out a hand. "B-because mother w-would be sad, a-and..." he saw the claws soften into regular fingers except one, that one slashed a deep cut into his father's arm. He then pulled what looked like a pen out of his pocket and started to scribble on the wall in neat handwriting. 'if I catch you abusing your kid again I will leave more than just a scar' he then swiftly knocked his father out and bandaged the wound, before circling the letters on the wall in blood. Did he just listen to me? I just did that? Kessho took a step back as this was happening, barely able to comprehend what just took place within the last five minutes.

"I'm taking you somewhere" before he had time to run, or talk, or even blink, he was in the arms of the teenager. Kessho gasped as he opened the door and leapt out his window, landing on a rooftop and glancing around for a moment before darting in a direction. His footsteps were silent and he made no sound, he pressed his chest a little and there was a blinking light. What is that? A couple minutes passed in silence and he felt his breathing start to slow. "H-hey" he said, tugging on his sleeve a little. The white haired male silently leapt into a tree and set him down on a branch, Kessho almost fell but he managed to stay clinging to the wood. "what's your name?" he asked. "Killua" he settled back onto the tree and seemed to be looking around. "do you want to go back home?" Kessho was torn. On one hand, he would love to leave and not get hurt often. But on the other, he couldn't just leave his mother all alone with his abusive father. "I can't leave" he said, curling his legs in and resting his head on his knees. "i-if I did then father might start hitting mother too..." he heard a sigh. "alright, but if you ever need help just climb up here ok?" when he looked up he saw that the strange teen was smiling, it was a warm and kind smile that made him feel safe.

"now Kessho, my friend is going to be coming very soon" he flinched slightly. "don't worry, you'll love him" suddenly he heard a thump and a giggle. "Killua!" Killua's eyes brightened and he grabbed Kessho again, then leapt onto the roof and set him down gently. "Gon!" he looked up fearfully but paused when he saw whoever Gon was. He looked pretty young and had green spikey hair, his eyes were a golden brown color and he had a bright smile on his face. Gon also held a very young girl with pale blue hair and red eyes, she had bandages all over her arms and legs and she was holding him tightly. "hold on" Gon shot a small glare at Killua for some reason. "please don't tell me you kidnapped this child" his eyes widened but Killua sighed. "no, but I couldn't ignore him either" Kessho felt a hand on his head and at the same time he felt his nerves relax a bit. "this is Kessho, when I asked his dad why he was abusing him he said something about him being able to cry money or some shit" Gon's jaw dropped. "cry money? That sounds so cool" he shifted a little and Killua glanced at him for a second, then snorted. "I can pickpocket for whatever we need, I refuse to use this child" he said in a more serious tone. Kessho felt that warm feeling again and his fear melted. "I wasn't suggesting that, just thought it was cool! He could buy whatever he wants when he gets older" wait, he doesn't care either? Kessho felt tears form at the corners of his eyes. Am I finally safe here?

Killua suddenly heard a clinking sound and looked over to see that small round blue jewels were pouring from the kid's eyes. Oh, that's what he meant. Killua frowned slightly. "why are you crying?" he wiped his eyes. "I just..." he wiped his eyes again and the tears started to slow. "you guys are so nice" he whispered, and Killua cupped his hands in an attempt to catch the gems. "holy crap their so smooth, but can you like stop crying? It's making a mess" the boy nodded and the shiny tears stopped falling, Killua sighed and stared at his hands. "what the hell do I do with this?" Gon shifted Eri a little and maneuvered his bag to where Killua could pour the gems into it. "we should hide them for now, we can't have more bad people being attracted to here because of all this" he nodded and started to pick up the marble like crystals, after he was finished he kept one in his fingers. "what is this made of?" Kessho picked it up in his hands. "it's Diamond, but usually when I cry their jagged and it hurts" he smiled softly at him, "that's because those were happy tears" suddenly Gon cleared his throat. "Ahem, child?" he gestured to Kessho and Killua sighed. "so, he says he wants to go back home for some reason" Gon looked thoughtful for a moment. "we can't take him back to the dorms, there's only enough room for Eri" Kessho shifted a little beside him. "I should go now, I have to be there when mother comes home"
