marie was happy.
she was happy with life. she had a loving mother and father. she had friends. she had ashton. oh, ashton. he was always there for her. she loved him. like, really loved him. she just wanted to spend the rest of her life with him. well, she got her wish. her last moments were with ashton, even though he was dead. he was still beside her. not many people can say they stayed together until death tore them apart.
she just wishes she had never let them agree to the stupid game. she could have saved their lives. they were all innocent and deserved nothing but the best in her eyes. but all they got was a messy, premature death in a basement.

"so, it's just us two left." alex smiled at michael, but michael was too busy with arranging the guns. he passed alex a gun and finally met his opponents eyes.
"yep, one of us is going to be the winner. and it's going to be me." michael said stiffly. but alex just laughed.
"yeah, maybe. but it's a fifty-fifty chance. so i could be the winner." alex smirked at michael before starting the final countdown for round nine.
"one." alex said, taking one last sip of his drink.
"two." michael replied, shifting slightly in his spot, before sending a smirk to alex.
"three." two teenagers pulled their trigger, not knowing if they're safe for now or going to lodge a bullet in their brain.
bang.
but michael knew he would be safe.
alex.
