Not one word was said in the car.

It was unsettling, to say the least. It also doesn't help the fact that you have no idea as to what is going on. Your mind was straining to understand the whole thing. You want to ask them what is going on, but thought it'll be best not to say anything and quietly sat there, at the back of the car.

You didn't break your curfew, so your parents couldn't be angry about that, and it's not like they spotted you somewhere dangerous, so that couldn't be the case. You swallowed thickly when a small thought occurred to you; saying that they know about your secret relationship with Karma.

But you quickly dismissed it, thinking that there was no way they could have found out. Speaking of Karma. How were you going to contact him? Your mother immediately snatched away your phone after she dragged you inside the car. Now how were you going to call Karma? What if he tries calling or texting you to make up for what happened.

'Karma, I'm sorry. But you'll have to wait until tomorrow for us to make up.'

Your eyes glanced at your parents. Neither of them looked at you. Geez, you'd feel better if your mother just shouts at you right now, then you'll know what you did wrong.

After what felt like hours, your dad parked the car in front of your home. You follow the two out of the car and silently followed them inside your house.

"I'll call Lulu saying we found her," said your mother as she walked towards the kitchen.

'They even brought Lulu into this?' You thought as your dad was hanging up his coat. "Um, dad..."

"(Y/n)," your dad turns to you. "We almost called the police, what on earth were you thinking?"

You felt your blood ran cold when your dad mentioned the police. Why the hell would they call the police?!

"What? But dad, I told mom I'll be going out with a few of my friends, it's not like I was running away."

Sure you have tried to run away before in the past, but you had nowhere else to go to. And it's not like recently you've been trying to run away or showed any sort of signs into doing so...

The look on his face said that he didn't believe you. "Were you really out with some friends?"

You stiffened in place. The question threw you off guard. Why does it feel like he already knew the answer to his question?

"I..."

"Your mother gets a call from Gakushu-kun saying you were secretly dating Akabane-san's child. Is that true? Why were hanging out with someone so dangerous? Do you have any idea how worried your mother and I were?!"

You felt your heart drop. The shock on your face seems to have already confirmed his question about your secret relationship with Karma.

For now, you couldn't think about Asano and him ratting you out, what concerned you was the fact that your parents have caught you. Your heart started to thump loudly as your hands got clammy.

You tried to find your words and not lose your voice. "Wh... what?" No, this can't be happening.

It was then your mother emerged from the kitchen. She walked slowly for a moment, pinching the bridge of her nose. You carefully studied her. She didn't look happy that much you can tell. What is she gonna do?

"How long was this 'relationship' going on?" She asked, locking her eyes onto you innocent one.

"..." Trying to keep it together, you opened your mouth. "I don't know what you mea--"
