[first off i would like to say welcome! this is my first fic so i hope you'll enjoy :) also if you hate ereri just leave and don't bother leaving shitty comments. so imma just tell y'all abt a few things real quick: 1. if you see this symbol "[", it means the author(me) is talking :D 2. yes there will be cursing here so if you're around anyone strict i suggest you move away 3. istg im sorry if this is cringey- oh right, i'm just gonna attach corpse bride pics bcs i can't find any ereri pics that match- but thats all, anyways go ahead and read ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ] 

✧ EREN'S POV ✧

"EREEEEN HURRY UP AND COME DOWN" my mother shouted, i sighed and went to do as she told. i know what we're going to do, so i'm not even gonna bother asking. i went down the stairs slowly since i have no motivation to do what my parents wanted me to. i can see them already leaving the house, so i quickened my pace. 

the door was about to close and at that point i ran because i didn't want to open the stupid heavy door again. i managed to get there in time and held back the door. i finally got out of the house and just stared at the sky... 

its the same as always, light gray with thin clouds slowly yet gracefully moving around. it kind of looks like brush strokes on the sky. maybe i could see a hint of blue here and there but not that much. it seems so... gloomy. but its like that everyday so i didn't really care. i closed my eyes and took a deep breath, but never felt that relaxing and refreshing feeling. heh, what am i even expecting... i should've gotten used to this town's vibe by now. 

as i opened my eyes again i could see two black butterflies near my face. i squinted my eyes to look closely at their features. one had turquoise green-ish specks on its lower wings, while the other is just plain black. they flew side by side, but the plain black one started to fly faster than the other. i just stood there, observing... the plain one now went up into the sky and stopped, seemingly waiting for its little friend to follow. the other butterfly, the one with turquoise green-ish specks, approach the plain one as slow as possible. as the two insects came in contact they both fluttered their wings against each other, and flew away. 

god how i wish i could have freedom like them. 

i snapped back into reality when my father called out to me, motioning for me to enter the carriage. the ride to our destination was quiet, and worse of all its the 'awkward' type of quiet. i'm guessing that my mother acknowledged this and broke the silence, "remember eren, no need to be nervous, just think of this as our regular visits to the ackerman family" as she finished her sentence she smiled. i can't help but smile back, her smiles are always reassuring. 

my father then added, "you know you're really lucky, son" and it took a while before i finally nodded. yes i do know that i'm lucky i could marry someone i already know and not some random girl my parents thought would be a good wife for me. 

✧ MIKASA'S POV ✧

i stared into my mirror as i mindlessly combed my hair. my brain was occupied with both freaking out and just spacing out. i don't know how long this 'staring' lasted but it certainly ended when i heard a knock on the door. i didnt immediately answer, instead i just looked at the door not saying a word. 

"uhm, hellooo?? mikasa???" my eyes quickly averted from the wooden door to it's handle. i finally got a hold of myself and went to open the door. it was annie. she's my friend but at the same time she's my.. uh.. hand maiden? lord what am i saying, those were the princess' servant in medieval times. what i meant was, she works for my family but she's really close to me. 

"are you okay? wait let me guess, you had those 'moments' again?" annie asked, thats what she likes to call whatever i just did before she came into my room. i looked down and nodded in response. annie walked closer and put her hand on my shoulder, "hey it's going to be fine, alright?" when i didnt move an inch, she removed her hand from my shoulder and pressed both her palms on my cheeks. of course because of this i instantly shot my head up. after a few seconds of being surprised i softened my expression. 

i held both annie's wrists with my hand and lowered her hands down. "damn why can't i just marry you instead?" i said under my breath, but i'm assuming annie heard because her face went red in a flash. after a moment of silence we both chuckled. "come on, he's probably already here" annie said, grabbing my arm and dragging me out my room. 

we went down and annie immediately let go of my arm when we were spotted by my parents. they smiled and annie knew she had to leave. a second later the door opened and the jaeger family walked in. me and eren noticed each other at the same time, he gave me a sheepish smile in which i returned with a rather weak smile. 

we were left behind as our parents went to another room to discuss about the wedding. me and eren were just standing there, doing nothing but staring at the walls or floor. i decided to make a move and went towards him. he took notice in this and turned his head my way. as i made it to him i only let out one word, 

"piano?" 

i slightly smiled as i got his response, 

"piano."
