"You guys.." Erza started, her arms crossed. She had a look of pure annoyance on her face. Natsu, Lucy, Gray and I were all sitting on the ground, looking away from our guild member with red hair. "Where the hell were you all at this time?!"

I forgot that we had to be back to the hotel by midnight. It was about 11:45 pm. We all screamed when Happy reminded us by saying 'Erza is going to become an ape if we don't go back to Honeybone!' So we quickly ran across the town to Honeybone, and made it in front of our hotel room at exactly 11:28 pm.

"I had dinner that was no fun at all.." Gray answered. He was probably with Juvia and that Lyon guy.

"We got in a weird tangle with some people.. or maybe we started it.." Lucy muttered, referring to blondie and red eyes. Ugh, they were so handsome. Natsu and Happy sat there, with their cheeks puffed out. They looked mad, but it was hilarious and also adorable! I held my laughter in.

"I'm not gonna let 'em get away with it!" They both yelled at the same time, their hands clenched. I laughed as Erza stared at them, not amused.

"By the way, Wendy's not back yet?" Erza asked, looking at the clock, it was almost midnight. "Hmm, come to think of it.." I said.  "She's late.." Gray said, looking around. "I'm sure she's with Carla, so I doubt she's lost.." Happy said, but he looked worry.

"It's almost midnight.." Erza said, pointing out the obvious, I nodded. Gray and Lucy began to talk, but I paid no attention. I could feel a presence coming toward us.

Just then, the door opened. "Hey! We brought treats!" Elfman said, scaring the shit out of me. I thought it was an attacker, or even Wendy and Carla. He and Lisanna came in. He was holding a crate of drinks, while Lisanna was carrying a bag full of what looked like snacks and food.

"Tomorrow's the big day!" Lisanna exclaimed, looking excited as a smile plastered on her face.  Natsu stood up, and walked over to them. "Are you guys going to watch the Grand Magic Games too?!"

Elfman nodded, "Yeah," Elfman said. "To be honest, I wanted to be in it myself and show off for Lisanna and Nee-chan, but giving up is also a Man!" I laughed. Elfman was too cute, wanting to impress his sisters.

Lisanna walked over to a table, and placed the bag down. "Good timing. Can I ask you a favor?" Erza asked her. "What is it?" Knowing that she would do it, Erza walked to her. "Actually, Wendy hasn't come back to the inn yet." Erza told Lisanna. "And we're apparently not supposed to do anything until after midnight." Gray said, and I looked at Erza, Lisanna, and Elfman. I'm going to look for Wendy tonight when everyone sleeps if Wendy hasn't came back.

"Is something going to happen at midnight?" Lisanna asked us. "I don't really know, but there's a rule that says we have to be here by midnight." Gray answered her question.

Then the clock struck to twelve. And the clock bell began to ring. "And as I say that, I notice it is midnight now.." He muttered. "What's gonna happen?" Natsu asked while we all looked at the clock.

"Everyone in the guilds, who have gathered together for the Grand Magic Games.. Good morning!" A weird voice said, coming out of nowhere.

"Outside?" Erza asked. We all turned to the patio, and jogged out. "What the fuck?" I mumbled. "What the hell is that? It's huge!" Natsu yelled. "A three dimensional image!" Lucy said. "A pumpkin!" Happy exclaimed.

"Beginning now, we're going to take the 113 participating teams, and have an elimination round to pare them down to eight!" The pumpkin said. "Elimination round?!" Grey asked. "Wow there's a lot of teams." I whistled, Lisanna nodded, "But why would they start the games so early? It wasn't like this last year.."
