Summary: Claire's annoyed and Morgan cheers her up

"Hey, how was the surgery?" Morgan closed the on-call room door behind her as she sat next to Claire on the bed. Only, to her dismay, Claire spared her a look and just hummed in substitute for a proper response.

Morgan raised her eyebrows at the sudden attitude and moved over so her body was now hovering over the smaller doctors. She took one of her hands and slid it under the back of Claire's neck.

Claire grabbed Morgan's head while she quickly kissed her neck, moving from one side to the other. It wasn't sexual, but playful. She then lifted her head and looked Claire in the eyes.

"I don't know why you're suddenly so pissed-" She leant down to kiss her cheek, "but-" Claire scrunched up her nose as Morgan moved to kiss it, "I didn't-" she moved to her other cheek and Claire could feel herself starting to cheer up, "do-" Claire closed her eyes as Morgan brought her hand up to move the stray hairs away from her forehead, "anything-" she then kissed the middle of her forehead, "to deserve it." She finally got to her lips and Claire couldn't help but smile into the last kiss.

She giggled when Morgan pulled away, then making Morgan smile more at the sound of her laughter. The blonde fell to Claire's side and pulled her in closer to give one final, soft kiss on the top of her head.

"I'm sorry," Claire's laughter calmed down as she nuzzled her way into the crook of Morgan's neck. "It's alright, we have our bad day," She moved her hand back up to play with Claire's hair.

"I'm just glad I could make you feel better," She relaxed with her arms around Claire, ready to fall asleep for as long as she could before either of their pagers went off.
