Imagine
It was at least a good few months since we all came back from Narnia, me and Peter had gotten together just a few days before the coronation.
Peter had brought me back to the Professor's house, it was huge and there was quite a load of confusion as to who I was from the Macready bit with explanation, the two adults let me stay.
Once the war was over, I went with the Pevensies, surprised that their mother was letting me stay with them until further notice. Peter was happy about is the most, gets time with his girlfriend and his mother.
This was going to be my first day at the same school as the siblings, the girls probably swooning over my boyfriend, either he had glown up during the war or he's always been pretty.
A knock was heard at my bedroom door (which was the cellar).
"Who is it?" I call from the bottom of the stairs.
"Santa," I hear Peter say.
I run up the stairs and open the door, seeing Peter in his school uniform for the first time... he was hot.
"Nice skirt," he smirks, causing me to slap his arm.
A chuckle slips out of his mouth as he wraps his arms around my waist and gives me a kiss, me returning the favour.
"Get a room, you two," Edmund grimaces from the opposite side of the door.
Peter rolls his eyes slightly, and turns to face his brother. "What?"
"Mum wants you both, write about to leave," Edmund replies, walking back towards the front door.
"You'll be fine, I promise," Peter comforts as I run from his grip to grab my bag, nearly tripping over my untied shoelace.
I swoop up my bag, adjusting the strap on my shoulder, jogging back up the stairs, Peter grabbing onto my hand and intertwining our fingers, his overlapping mine.
We wander out from the cellar, closing the door behind us and walking out to the car, Peter locking the front door.
Peter allows Susan to sit in the front seat so that it allowed him to comfort me on the way.
"Are we all buckled in?" Helen asks, we all nod in response.
We hadn't told Helen about Narnia of course, we had made up a small lie that my parents had died in the war whilst I was staying at the Professor's, none of that being true.
"Oh, by the way, Adriana, all the girls swoon over Peter, just a warning," Susan laughs from the passenger seat.
"You could've left that out," Peter complains.
"It's fine, I'll slap them if they come too close," I chuckle, causing Edmund to let out a loud laugh.
"This is why I like you so much, Adriana," Edmund stutters, trying to control his laughter.
It didn't take long until we arrived at the school, usually the Pevensies would take the train but on the first day of school, it was always the car.
We step out of the car, hugging Lucy goodbye as she was still in primary school which was in a different building.
Edmund and Susan break off from me and Peter to go and meet their friends, leaving the two of us alone.
"Come on, I'll show you my mates," Peter grins, taking my hand in his, walking into the school.
May students, mostly girls, send me dirty or questioning looks, I tense up a little as I'm not used to having so many humans looking at me. Narnians were okay because most of them were pretty stupid or funny, this was different.
It was strange being in such a communal place without Aslan by my side, not able to use my sword as a display or pull out my dagger. None of that came through the wardrobe with me. I missed my dagger, my sword and shield, my father.
"Hi lads," my thoughts were cut off by Peter's voice. "This is Adriana."
I give the group of boys a wave.
"Bloody hell, Pete, how the fuck 'ave you managed to pull her?" One of the boys snickered, giving him a fist bump.
"Good on you, mate," another said.
"Ria, these are friends, Kyle, Matthew, Mark and Carlisle," Peter says, pointing to a different boy as he said a different name. "As you've already noticed, this is girlfriend."
God that sounded great coming out of his mouth, the question they should be asking is how I got him.
"Nice to meet you," Carlisle says, shaking my hand.
"You too," I reply. "All of you."
At least tenanted passed until a loud ringing sound was heard in my ears, I jumped a little, making the group of boys to laugh, a small shade of red creeping up onto my face.
"You lot go to form, I'll take her to get her timetable," Peter says, the four boys doing a handshake with him as they left.
"If I knew you were such a heartthrob, I'd have put a bag over your head," I comment, earning a laugh from him as he droops an arm over my shoulder.
It's not long before we get to a small office, a small piece of paper being politely handed to me by a lady at the desk.
"Come on, we have to go to form," Peter says, taking me to a classroom crowded with around 30 people.
"Ahh, Peter and Miss... Swan, is that right?" The teacher asks.
"Yes Sir," I nervously reply, Peter taking me over to a four seater table, tow of his friends, Mark and Kyle sat on the opposite side.
Peter's hand stays on my thigh for the majority of the half-hour we're in that classroom. This would be a long but good day, I could feel it.
