Midnight snack

So, I typed this shit on my phone and have been working on it for a week, since my mom limited my phone time to half an hour per day. I just got the urge to write and since my parents took away my laptop I have absolutely no way to write, except for my phone. Unfortunately this doesn't mean that I'll be able to update regularly, but I'll try to get back to what I'm passionate about: Loki and writing.

I jolted awake from my sleep, panting heavily, a single tear making it's way down my face. I dreamed about the first person I had to kill for SHIELD once again. A young woman, who was trying to break into numerous SHIELD facilities. She had to be stopped, but was killing her truly the right way?

Would that woman may be a changed person, if I hadn't taken her life? Would she may even be a part of the very organisation that took me in? Would she have a family? A partner? Maybe pets?

I shook my head, as if that would help me forget, but of course the "what if" questions kept coming.

I decided that it would be for the best if I got myself some food. For some reason eating always helped me forget.

That's how I found myself in the dark kitchen of avengers tower, a huge piece of chocolate cake on my plate.

I exhaled heavily, the memory of that womans pained gasps in my head.
Suddenly I heared the soft creak of the wooden floor. Someone was coming into the kitchen. What normal person is up at 3 am?!

I watched the door closely, trying my best to see through the darkness of the night. The steps came closer, until a tall silhouette entered the room. I immediately recognised Loki, just by looking at how he stood.

I was trained to pick up such small details, like how people walked or moved. I may have studied Loki's habits a bit more than the others, because, well, I liked him. A lot. So instead of asking him out, I stared at him quite much. Yeah, not creepy at all.

"Y/n?! What are you doing here in the middle of the night?!" His voice cut through the silence of the night.
"Couldn't sleep. And you're one to talk. You're here too."

"Ehehe, good point." He furrowed his brows, while stepping a little bit closer. "What are you eating, love?"
My heart beat sped up at his nickname, but being a spy for years I managed to hide my excitement.

"Uh just some chocolate cake. Do you- urm want some?"
I could see Loki's expression change through the darkness, a smirk spreading over his face. I wasn't sure yet, whether I liked that smirk or not.

"I'd love a bite." He paused for a moment, now grinning wide enough, that I could see his pearl wite teeth flash through the night. "Darling"

My eyes widened, my breathing growing faster and heavier than normally, no amount of training could have prepared me for this. He knew exactly what he was doing to me, and how to do whatever this was perfectly.

Loki made a huge step forward, which caused my reflexes to kick in. I stepped backwards, but I didn't get far. The counter was in the way of my escape, my lower back pressed up against the edge.

Loki stepped even closer only leaving a few centimetres between our bodies. "Are you afraid of me, love?" By now he was so close, that I could feel his hot breath against my face. I struggled to concentrate on his voice, his luring smell entering my nose. I let out a shuddering breath, before gaining enough willpower to answer the god.

"I- I'm not afraid of you, Loki..." i awkwardly cleared my throat. "So, uh, do you, uhm want the cake?" My voice sounded as shaky as my knees felt, my eyes darting around the room, looking anywhere but at the tall man towering over me.

He let out a dark laugh, now close enough that I could feel his hair tickling my neck.

"Mhh, I'd love some." He reached behind me, where I had put down the plate with the chocolate cake on it. Loki cut a small piece off with my fork, slowly bringing it to his mouth. During all this, his eyes never left my face, not even when his lips wrapped around the fork. Just as slowly as he had lifted the fork, he put it back on the plate.

He chewed two times, before closing his eyes in delight, letting out a satisfied moan. I could swear that my heart stopped beating in that moment, hearing a sound like that from Loki was enough to quite literally kill me.

The god of mischief then opened his emerald like eyes again, studying my expression intensely. "Sorry, darling. Here I am, eating your food, without offering you a taste."

"I- uh it's alright. You can have it..."
"Oh, but that wouldn't be fair, now would it?" Loki paused for a moment, a mischievous glint filling his eyes. "How about you get a taste too?" I didn't know what I was getting myself into, but nodded nonetheless. To be honest, I would let that man snap my neck.
Loki smirked, happy with my wordless answer.

I could hear him cut another piece off the cake. Was he really going to feed me?!

But instead he brought the fork to his mouth once again, chewing the cake wordlessly. What the hell was he going to do now?

Loki leaned forward his lips nearly brushing against mine. "Darling, I'm going to kiss you now, alright?"
My brain didn't fully process his words and I nodded without registering what he had said.

The god smiled, before pressing his soft lips against mine, letting out a soft hum of approval. My body went rigid against his chest, but the more he moved his lips, the more I managed to relax, until I reached the point of kissing him back.

Loki put his large hand on my lower back, pulling me closer. I let out a soft moan against his lips, causing him to smirk. Loki let his tongue press against my closed lips, asking for entrance, which I allowed him.

His tongue entered my mouth, exploring it and I did the same to his. He tasted like chocolate cake and something else I couldn't identify. I brought my hands to his hair, tangling my fingers in his soft locks.

My brain completely shut off, so I didn't even question, that I truly was kissing the god I had a crush on for three months.

After a while we had to pull apart, both panting heavily. I leaned back against the counter, trying to cath my breath. I felt and sounded like I just ran a marathon.

My eyes wandered to Loki's face out of reflex, only to find him staring at me already.

"Sorry darling, I did not mean to overwhelm you."
I chuckled softly "Loki, I kissed back, didn't I? Trust me, I'm fine."
He smiled down at me "I'm glad to hear that, love." He then looked away, his gaze wandering through the room and then stopping at the clock.

"I believe it's better if we go to sleep. It's already four am. The super soldier will be awake soon."
I sighed, deciding to be honest about the reason why I was awake in the first place.

"I don't want to go to sleep, Loki. I know that the moment I close my eyes, the nightmares will return."
His look softened, sympathy and understanding showing in his eyes. "That's why I'm here too... I didn't know you get nightmares as well..."

I scratched my neck, an idea forming in my head. "What if we uh, share a room?" Loki raised his eyebrows. "Well, maybe cuddling would help us? Of course you don't have to say yes! I get if you'd rather be alo-"
Loki cut off my panicked rambling. "I think it's a wonderful idea, love."
"You- you do?"
He smiled at me "I do."
