"The meeting should be done any moment, my sweet. Are you at our Rendezvous?" A smooth, deep voice entered your conscious.

"Making my way now," you replied through the force, smiling at the Padawans running around and playing games. You missed when this playfulness and life was rife throughout the Temple; before the war.

"Good girl," the voice replied, and you had to withhold a shutter as you felt an invisible hand rake softly up your thigh in a teasing manner, "I cannot wait to see you, sweet one."

You smiled softly, "You saw me this morning, Plo."

"That was too long ago, Y/n. My soul yearns for you when we are apart, love." Plo replied. You felt a soft pressure on your lips and you practically swooned, reveling in the soft touch.

Upon entering the library, you greeted Madame Jocasta, who returned the greeting and let you go about your business. It was no secret (to her, at least,) that you and Master Plo met at the library after every council meeting. She never pried you for why you were there, but something in you knew that she recognized your feelings for each other.

"I'm at the Rendezvous," you told him.

"The meeting just ended, I will be there shortly," he replied, and you had to bite your lip to contain your grin. You had to admit, you did miss him during the day. You hoped the war wouldn't be dragging him out to some front again, but there was always some battle to fight out there.

You took a seat at one of the lounge chairs, waving politely at the fellow Knights and Padawans that passed by while you waited. The library was one of your favorite places in the temple; it held a peacefulness that the rest of the temple lacked now, thanks to the war.

You sensed his presence almost instantly, and turned to your head to see Plo approaching. "Hello Master Plo," you smiled, your heart rate subtly picking up at the sight of your love.

"Hello Y/n," he replied, taking a seat next to you, "I'm hoping I didn't keep you waiting for too long?"

"Of course not," you assured him, "So, how goes the war?"

Plo sighed, "I'll be going out again in two days. You and your men will be getting an assignment yourself in the coming days."

A heavy breath left your lips, and you prayed to the force that this whole conflict would end soon. "I'm tired, Plo. This war has gone on too long," you hated to be like this, but you weren't sure how much more The Jedi Order– and the galaxy at large– could handle.

"I know, beloved," Plo whispered, his hand subtly moving to cover yours, "I pray for the end of this conflict every day. But we must have faith in the force that it will end soon."

"Yes," you agreed, "May the force be with us all."

You spent some time discussing the war, though most of the conversation was about your clone troops that had become your family; like sons in the eyes of Plo and yourself. If any good came out of this war, it was those men. You only wished that the galaxy saw them as humans, as living things, rather than replaceable canon-fodder.

"My love," Plo spoke through the force, "would you like to return to our rooms?" you felt a subtle hand caress your thigh, though both of Plo's real hands were respectfully in his lap.

"Of course," you replied in the same manner, looking at him with a hidden lust only he could see.

"Shall we go for a walk?" he spoke aloud, rising from his seat. You rose up with him, "That sounds lovely, Master." And with that, the two of you exited the archives to subtly make your way to your rooms.
