Despair

It's been 3 days since yerin and sinb broke up.

Sinb is still proving herself to yerin. She always stand by at the bench infront of Jung's Hospital. She can't enter the hospital because yerin banned her to enter. The guards won't allow her to enter even she insisted.

She looks like homeless person.

While yerin, she is trying to move on.

At Jung's Hospital~

"Yerin unnie are you sure you won't talk to sinb?" Yuju asked yerin whose eating her lunch.

"There's no need to talk about yuju-ah, it's all clear to me" yerin said

"So you will throw away your almost 3 years relationship just like that?" Yuju asked again

"I'm not the one who throw it, she did" yerin said

"You are asking me about that again and again yuju-ah? It's been three days since you are asking me about her. Aren't you tired?" yerin said but seems annoyed.

"Because I know that you can't move on because you still love her " yuju said in disbelief

As they are eating their lunch together, A man whose wearing nurse uniform suddenly came and barged into their talk,

"Hey Dr. Jung and Nurse Choi!" He greets, while waving his hand.

"What are you doing here Nurse Kim Yugyeom?" Yuju asked the man.

"I just want to give this to Dr. Jung" He said as he placed a box of chocolate and a piece of rose.

"Why are you giving me these?" Yerin asked as she looked at the presents he gave.

"I just...i just want you to have it, i'm gonna go now, bye!" He said as he dashes outside of the cafeteria in Jung's Hospital.

"He's weird" yuju said as she shakes her head.

After they ate lunch, yerin went to a room where there are interns. She is assigned to conduct a lesson to them. She was the one who will seminar and tour them at jung's hospital as well.

As she enter the room, interns greets her. It's been one week since she is teaching them new things and information about the hospital and some surgeries.

"Good afternoon Dr. Jung!" A girl intern greets her.

"Good afternoon to you too, have you take your lunch already?" She asked the girl.

"Yes, Dr. Jung"
When yerin received the answer, she nodded as her response.

She went to the front of the interns,

"Good afternoon everyone! Are you ready to learn again?" Yerin asked brightly, hiding the pain she's feeling after she decided to broke up with sinb.

"Yes we are, Dr. Jung!" The interns said in unison.

"We are going to have a tour this day at jung's hospital for you to familiarize your workplace" yerin informed them

They all stand up and went outside of the room so they can have a tour at Jung's hospital. Interns are 20 people to be specific, 10 female and 10 male.

They are taking notes on every key words and highlights that yerin told them.

Jung's hospital is estimated with five floors. With 130 rooms in it. It includes the offices, emergency rooms, operating rooms, wards, and etc.

"Our tour for today is 3rd floor up to first floor. Tomorrow will be fourth floor and fifth floor. Is that clear?" Yerin said to her students

"Yes Doctor" they answered

They are at the third floor of the hospital,

"In this floor, we have 25 wards here it includes private and public. 3 rooms for Oncology, which means cancer department. In first room, there are children who are fighting for their lives, Some of them wants to give up now but our job as doctors or nurses, we must cheer them up, we must not make them feel that they are alone in times of their trials. We also need to check them from time to time, but it depends who are assigned in that job" Yerin said

The new nurses are listening very well.

"In the second and third rooms are seniors and adults. Same to children, we must make them feel home and comfortable towards this place. It's not easy for them to be in one room for many years. And also, we must check them from time to time". yerin added

"Dr. Jung, Does the cancer patients are hard to handle?" One nurse asked

"Some of them are hard to handle at first but as the time goes by, they will change. You just need to earn their trust and comfort". Yerin answered

After their tour at the third floor, they went down to second floor.

"This room is P. A. C. U.. PACU means, Post-Anesthesia Care Unit. The PACU is a critical care unit where the patient's vital signs are closely observed, pain management begins, and fluids are given. The nursing staff is skilled in recognizing and managing problems in patients after receiving anesthesia. The PACU is under the direction of the Department of Anesthesiology." Yerin explained

Moving on to the first floor,

"This floor is very important because Emergency rooms are located in here. All nurses and doctors assigned here must alert and quick" Yerin said

"Emergency department: The department of a hospital responsible for the provision of medical and surgical care to patients arriving at the hospital in need of immediate care. Emergency department personnel may also respond to certain situations within the hospital such cardiac arrests." Yerin added as she explained

All of the new nurses are paying attention. They just nod to yerin so she knows if they are still into the topic.

"Let's go to the front desk which located at the main door" yerin said and the students followed.

they arrived in the front desk,

As yerin is still explaining, she feels that interns are not paying attention. So she stops for a while and try to over hear the topic of her interns.

"Look at that girl outside, the girl who is sleeping on the bench" the girl intern whispered to her mate.

"I saw her there since yesterday, looks like she slept there" she added

"Yeah, I saw her too. I can say that she's rich because of her fancy suit but she looks like in despair" the other one whispered back.

"Maybe she have a family member who got hospitalized here" the other nurse said

"Yeah maybe but she can stay here inside tho"

When yerin heard their topic, she looks at the girl they meant. As she looks outside of the hospital, in one of the benches; there she saw sinb who is sleeping on the bench. Looks like homeless person. She looks away after a seconds because she can't stare at sinb in that state, she might remember the pain that sinb caused her.

"Our tour ends here. Let's continue it tomorrow" Yerin said as she dashes in the elevator, holding back her tears.

But one thing is, one of the interns followed her inside the elevator because the intern noticed her sudden changing of mood.

"What happened Dr. Jung?" The intern asked

"Don't mind me Yugyeom, Maybe I'm just tired" Yerin lied.
