it makes them feel safe.
jake, however had always liked the cold. he loved it. loved it so much that even when he felt the cold was making him numb and his heart freeze, it somehow gave him peace.
he loved the feeling.
but it was difficult to find cold in a person. unless, they were dead.
whoever held Jake, they were always warm. he did not hate it. but he wished it was colder, atleast around the people he loved.
soon warmth was all that was left and he was ready to give in.
until he met the guy whose skates made sharp beautiful sounds on ice.
