Chosen Side

As the three made it downtown towards the shopping district, they instantly could tell something was wrong. Black smoke, likely from an accelerant, filled the air and floated high into the sky acting as a beacon for miles around. Increasing his speed running, Izuku wraps a tendril around both women and carries them faster than either can run. Up the street, a large gathering of people stood in front of an alleyway that was set ablaze in fire. Multiple heroes and police officers on the scene trying to keep the civilians away from the rampaging villain. A 40 foot tall giant woman complains about not being able to fit between the alleyway as other heroes merely watch on none making a move to help.

"Why aren't they doing anything?" The first thought crosses Izuku's mind as he comes to an abrupt stop at the edge of the crowd.

"What's going on?" Nejire goes over to one of the onlookers to ask. "Excuse me sir, but what's going on?"

"Apparently some Sludge Villain that was in a pro's custody got loose."

'Sludge Villain?' Izuku looked into the alley to see the villain he and Nejire saw before attacking everything in sight. 'Oh come on! Couldn't that pro handle moving a fucking frozen villain without having it run amock. Ugh... If you want something done right you have to do it yourself." Izuku was about ready to leave and let the pros clean up this mess before seeing a girl trapped inside. He didn't want to deal with cleaning up someone else's mistake, but something inside the green haired boy made him have the urge to help this person. 'Dammit!' Glaring at the sludge villain from inside the crowd, the girls watch as he seemingly seeps into the concrete like water into dry soil.

Beneath them a shadow moves from person to person and both girls track the moving shadow. It slinks under an armored hero before moving past the police lines and onto the cobblestones of the sidewalk. The heroes were shocked to see Izuku appear out of the shadow inside the containment area they had the villain confined to and one goes as far as to yell at him. "HEY!! KID! GET THE HELL OUT OF THERE!"

"Sit back on your hands and don't fuck it up." Smirking at the villain, Izuku took a deep breath causing the air around them to drop almost 30 degrees celcius in an instant as the condensation became visible as he breathed."Remember me asshole?"

Immediately, the Sludge Villain froze in fear. "St-stay back!" Izuku calmly walked up to the villain making sure his steps echoed, the air began to get colder and colder, to the point the fires extinguished themselves from the lack of energy present. "I...I swear I'll snap her neck! YOU HEAR ME!?" Izuku kept eye contact with the villain with frost coming on his body.

"You really are an idiot, you haven't even realised you've already lost your 1 bargaining chip." The villain made of sludge hesitantly looks down, expecting to see the fawn haired woman he was holding hostage only to see nothing inside his biomass.

"How did-"

"He grabbed her so fast we didn't even see him move." One of the civilians says as they all stare silently watching this go on.

"You're not facing a normal human, or even a superhuman. Within me are hundreds if not thousands of quirks and you..." The air became so cold the water in the atmosphere around them froze causing snow to manifest out of thin air. "Never stood a snowflake's chance in hell." With a calm exhale, blizzard force winds whipped and howled through the alleyway, freezing the once burning shops and buildings. The torrent of white winds drop the temperature to the negatives freezing the sludge villain solid. "Nothing like having to clean up someone else's mess. Next time, try and do your jobs right or get out of the hero industry. People could have died and you sat around playing pat ass." With a snap of his fingers the frozen slime villain was melted then teleported into a solid steel oil drum that he had manifested out of a demiplane quirk he possessed.
