My chest felt heavy when I woke up with a book on my face, it had to be someone small and adorable. I lifted my book to find that I was wrong it was my mom. I got out of bed still in my underwear and rubbed my eyes I found a pair of basketball shorts and a white T-shirt. Leaving my room I looked to see if Juan was still up but he wasn't in the guest room, I went down stairs and found him laying down with Tonio on the couch watching Scooby-Doo. I walked by and rubbed his head then sat at the kitchen table taking in the many smells of food.

"So how was your date with that mystery girl of yours go?" She said while scrambling the eggs. From the corner of my eye I could see Tonio look up from the couch while Juan Whined he "Can't see!" for about twelves time.

"Come on, did you get to first base?" She waved the spatula like a wand before taking the bacon out of the skillet on the other side of the eggs.

Tonio walked into the kitchen and sat next to me, there was no getting out of this and lying would only make it worse. Then I'll feel bad and Tonio would just be a huge secret because I don't think shes gonna take the fact that I'm currently going out with him(I think) well.
