The Date I Made

Mobius POV

So I talked to Sylvie later on. She said they did have a meeting, and helped me with possible date ideas.

I decided on Pompeii. It was one of the first places I realized that I liked him. But I was thinking before the eruption in the middle of the night.

Just so that we wouldn't be seen, and we could still enjoy ourselves.

That and I decided on a picnic. I got us salads, pizza, and wings. The salads just for some food that's actually good for us. Then again, pizza does have tomatoes soo... who really knows.

I had asked him to come to my office around 5. It was 4:30 and I was freaking the fuck out. Like holy shit, the guy I wanted to date was actually going to go on a date with me. Okay, calm down Mobius, it's fine. You've talked to him before and been alone with him before two.

Yeah, both of those things were true, but it wasn't like this. Before it was because I had to watch over him, and teach him about the TVA. Now, we were going on a date, and I was terrified.

I mean he was Loki. And yeah, that scared me. But the other part that terrified me more was that, due to him being second in command to Sylvie I would have to see him, at work if this didn't work. Then again I guess I would have to see him if it did work too, but that would be a great thing, rather than a punishment. Which is what seeing him if this doesn't end well would be.

But, I'm confident that we can do it. I'm confident in what we could be as well. But, that doesn't change my nerves. And I was stressing because of them. I can do this. Yeah, I can do this.

Twenty minutes later...

I heard a knock on my door, I looked at the clock. It hadn't been thirty minutes, had it? No, but it had been twenty. And Loki likes to be on time a lot. Or early.

I smoothed down my suit and tie and opened the door.

There stood my date. His greasy black hair and suit are immaculate as always. But he looked better. It could be the new tie, which was white. Or it could be the pink dress shirt under it, I had no clue which caught my eye more. But God, he looked good.

"Um, we should probably get going, just give me a sec, " I say, turning to get the picnic basket out of the fridge I put under my desk.

Loki looks around and proceeds to say, "the place really is coming together." I look back at him and watch as his eyes also land on me. His perfect green eyes. God, I liked him so much, and it was so new to me. But I loved it.

"Thank you, now time to go on this date isn't it?" I say smirking. And partially trying to look confident. He smiles back at me. And proceeds to pull out his Tempad, "well then, let's go, " he says handing it to me. "Let's go, " I say grabbing it from him.

A/N- Just in case anyone was curious, wrote this in an airport, my flight is delayed till 9:15, it's currently 7:21. Soooooo, way too many updates today?
