Who Done It?

Sylvie's POV

Loki and Mobius had been off on their trip for three days. And to say the east side of the TVA was breaking down would be an understatement.

Who would've thought the God of mischief was the glue holding this place together. Honestly literally anyone.

But, he was going and willing to work himself to death. And Mobius was feeling the after-effects. Especially with them dating and living together.

Which was nice. They cared for each other. And to be honest, it was adorable.

Mobius actually came to me asking if he could get a goat for Loki. Which was probably the cutest thing ever. We then had one of our main receptionists ask if it was a fish. Which is probably the weirdest and funniest thing to happen here.

But we needed both of them. And I felt terrible doing this, but we needed Loki and Mobius both looking into this. So, I called Loki.

"Hey," I say, trying not to sound suspicious.
Fun fact, all I did was sound suspicious.

"Hey Sylvie what's wrong," Loki asks nervously.

"What, nothings wrong, what made you think that," I say, sounding even more suspicious and nervous with every word.

"Well the fact that you're calling me, and that you sound like your hiding something?" Loki says still trying to know what's going on.

"Okay so the TVA needs you and Mobius back, and I know it's early but we are dealing with a lot," I say I was about to keep going but he cuts me off.

"Trust me it's fine Sylvie, I'll tell Mobius and we will be back soon, okay?" He says reassuring me.

"Thanks, and sorry about this," I say.

"It's fine, after all this is over we'll take a break again and be done with all this," Loki says jokingly.

"Yeah, hopefully we will," I say, glad that he's not angry. And also wanting all of this to be over in a way.

Bye, he says, ending the call and putting my hesitancy to rest with his voice gone. I don't know why, but I think I had a feeling.

I think we all did...
