-in the year 1892, the story of Choi Areumin, an ordinary girl in Korea, and Hamada Ashiro, a Japanese royal-blood, begun. Though their paths weren't really destined to meet, their hearts found a way to be together. But as the two were in the so-called forbidden love, fate became cruel and found its way to separate the two lovers whose worlds just won't meet halfway.
Then, a mistake was made, a mistake that blindly affected a huge part of the future generations. Hamada Ashiro got killed while the love story of Ashiro and Areumin remained unfinished, lost in time.
It needed to be corrected, fast forward to the year 2021, in the generation where Areumin was born again as her great-great-granddaughter, Choi Ryumin. She was chosen to go back to 1892 and correct the huge mistake that fate had made. But then, without knowing it, she was falling in love with the same man, twice! Both were forbidden, first as Choi Areumin of 1892 and second as Choi Ryumin of 2021.
