Henry's POV
I am in so much trouble if I get caught. But I'm sick and tired of my moms bickering at each other. I wish they would just stop and make up. What was so hard about being friends? It just doesn't add up.
Mom's currently out doing mayor stuff...and I'm supposed to be at school, but everyone knows that I am in the wrong class. I'm too advanced, so it can't hurt me if I skip a few lessons. Besides, I need to do this...for my moms.
A loud creak emanates through the room as I open Mom's secret, much smaller crypt inside her house. I need to find something that will bring the two together...but where to look?
I trip on one of the cracks in the floor, and almost break all of the carefully labelled potions. However as this happens, one particular bottle catches my eye. Its been shuffled to the back, collecting dust, but will work just the same. Smiling wildly, I exit the room as if it had never been opened in the first place.
Let phase 2 of Operation Swanqueen begin.
-------------------------------------------------
Emma's POVI was in my bug, with my knuckles white from gripping the steering wheel too tightly. Why was I in this state you ask? Because it was 6:58pm, and I was parked in front of the Mills' house.
Regina was expecting me at 7, and that was cool. What wasn't cool however was I was unsure of how to approach the queen.
Should I just walk right on in? Nah...she'd make a comment about me making myself at home. How about I arrive on her doorstep late? No that's a recipe for disaster. How about...My gaze turned to the radio where the clock read 7:00.
"Damnit Swan! Now she's going to really kill you." I cursed to myself, jumping out the door like it was on fire or something and sprinted to the door of the white, marble, Emma Swan hellhole.
---------------------------------------------
Regina's POVThe sound of Ms Swan's knock on the door echoed throughout the pristine hallway. Placing the dessert in the oven, I asked Henry to go and open the door for me.
We had been making apple turnover, the non-poisonous type of course, and plan to eat it as a treat before my beautiful boy leaves with Emma at around 8:30.
When my child runs back, with the blonde in tow, I give him a big bear hug. The blonde sees this and rolls her eyes. Good. I got the intended effect of my actions.
We walk into the living room and sit down. Emma sits opposite my son and I. She looks rather out of place, like a lost lamb.
I decide to speak up. "So Henry, how was school today?"
"Yeah kid, how was school? Try out for any sports?" Emma chimes in rather cheerfully and relieved.
The boy nochalanty replies "Nah. No sports for me. I'm more of an academic type of guy. School was the same as usual too. Math, English, Science. You know. That stuff."
"Oh. Okay kid, sure. But I think sport would help you too. It'd keep you fit and healthy!" I heard Emma say.
This comment made my anger flare. "Ms Swan. My son does not need to be forced into something." I hear her deny that fact but I continue anyway. "He may do as he pleases and he is quite healthy indeed. I give him a very healthy diet and if there is any sign of unhealthiness it is the result of you and your poor idea of nutritious food. Do not try and corrupt my son again. Understood?"
The blonde nodds slowly. "Now you must excuse me as I go to check the turnovers to see if they are ready."
But before I am able to do so Henry grabs my wrist. "Mom can I do it? Please? I'll be very careful."
He gives me the puppy dog eyes and I simply cannot refuse. "Alright dear. But be very careful ok?"
"Yes mom." He smiles sweetly before rushing off to the kitchen.
------------------------------------------------
Henry's POVI've done it! I'm a genius! Now my moms can get along!
Phase 2 of Operation Swanqueen is just about to be completed.
