Henry's POV
This is gonna work. This is gonna work so well. As you might've guessed, I am super giddy at the moment. That's because i've finally found a way to get my moms to tolerate each other. Yes it is magic, and yes magic always has a price, but this isnt dark magic. And it's harmless too. After all...why would my mom put it there if that crypt only contained sweet and loving potions? There would be no curses there either. The worst concoction I saw was one where you could turn anything into a rabbit. Where's the harm in that?
My laugh echoed in the kitchen. Okay. How to make the Saviour and former Evil Queen taste my concoction? An idea formed in my head. The first time the two met! It would both be symbolic to the task and work as a successful disguise.
I tiptoed to where the adult drinks were placed in and took my mom's homemade honeycrisp apple cider. Trust her to get the apple with the "top brand name".
I giggled. After my fun I grabbed a spoon from the cabinet. Slowly I poured one spoon of the potion that could now be recognised as a red hue, in each of the 2 glasses out in front of me. There was some left over so I poured the rest in half and half. Waste not want not? Something like that.
I then grabbed the bottle of cider and began pouring it in until it looked like the usual colour. The apple turnovers were cooled now, I had pulled them out first before I started on the beverage.
I figured my moms would be tired of waiting by now, so I grabbed a plate and put the turnovers on that, then carried one of the glasses along with it. I returned one more time to retrieve the other glass before sitting down and joining the two.
My moms were really impressed to see I had managed on my own, and made a drink to go along with it. They liked the drink...very much indeed. As I had silently eaten my dessert, I watched the liquid go down their throats, one drop at a time, grin never leaving my lips.
Emma and I left soon after. I kissed Regina goodbye, gave her a hug, and went to bed the minute Emma and I arrived home.
Very interesting things were about to happen in Storybrooke. And Henry's special concoction was to blame...
Phase 2 complete. Now on to phase 3.
