Regina's POV
I was sitting down at my desk doing the day to day paperwork of the town.
Hey Regina!! Question...can we read other people's minds other to us?
I jumped in fright. It was so sudden I hadn't expected it.
Miss Swan. I thought we had agreed on refraining from communication with our minds. Are you seriouly this dense?
No...I promised. Remember? I will keep it.
That's debatable...
Regina. I'm not my mother. I just wanted to know if I could read everyone else's thoughts, and not just yours.
Is that a problem?
Well...no. But it would be nice to have some warning before I hear a whole clusterfuck of voices in my head. I know its seems crazy your Majesty, but I'd prefer your voice over the whole fucking town's.
Oh. Well...in that case, I'm not too sure. Sorry Ms Swan. I've been in my office the whole time. I...
Wow...
Excuse me? How dare you interupt me. Again.
I'm sorry! Really I am. But you just told me you were sorry. That's like...a miracle.
No it isn't.
Yeah, it is.
No.
Yes.
No.
Yes.
No, Miss Swan. It is not.
Ugh...I'm not going to even argue with you anymore. You stubborn woman.
Yes well stubborn is better than ignorant.
Yeah, yeah. Get back to work. I have to fill out those forms you gave me.
Well you needed them. I need my Sheriff properly educated and this is one way to do it.
Okay. Sure. I'm just gonna put that in the back of my mind. See ya, Regina!
Goodbye, Ms Swan. And please do be on time for this afternoon's meeting at Town Hall. I may just fire you if you are late again.

Emma's POV
I am so not going to be late for the meeting. Nope. Not at all.
As I open the doors to town hall, my face greets everyone already seated and listening in on the mayor...who is glaring at me...and is able to read my mind.
Well shit.
Miss Swan. You are late once more. And I had specificlly told you to arrive on time. Yet you didn't.
I rolled my eyes and took a seat directly in front of the mayor. Could this get any worse?
Well I'm sorry, Madam Mayor. I had a few errands to run seeing as you delayed me with that paperwork. Crime never sleeps you know.
It is not night. And there wasn't that much paperwork to be completed. I reckon Henry could do it faster than you claim it took for you.
Yeah but Henry's a fricken genius. I'm just plain old...Emma.
Indeed you are....
I heard her think. And then ever so quietly...
...but being Emma is what makes you special.
No way was I going to reply to that. Way to emotional for my liking. So instead I listened in on the meeting.
2 hours later, and I am dying.
Seriously how long is a meeting supposed to last? Regina has spoken an hour and a half ago, and then the presentation was passed on to this super boring guy with a monotone voice.
UGH! Hurry up dude!
Miss Swan. Please could you be quiet and behave yourself. I am trying to listen.
I'm too bored to stop now...
NO Regina! I'm so fucking bored right now. I mean, who even listens to this guy?! He's a fucking douche!
Miss Swan. Refrain from your everpresent colourful vocabulary and act like an adult. He is a highly respected dignitary and I will not have you expressing your ingratitude.
Yeah right. Like you don't hate him too. Come on. Tell me you aren't bored by this guy?
I heard nothing. No response from the queen at all.
So...you agree with me. See. Told you he's boring. You could end the meeting now! Just tell him to go piss himself and we will all be on our merry way. No more super boring meeting!
No. I will not tell him to go away and end the meeting just for you.
Awe, c'mon! It's not just for me! We both thought about leaving him!
No, okay?! You don't think like me, Miss Swan. We are not going until this meeting is complete.
Just then I heard the boring guys' voice say that the meeting has ended.
Hella fuckin YEAH!!
Miss Swan! Manners!
Yeah, yeah. Whatever. I'm gonna get outta here. See ya!
I started walking away and exited the door without a seconds thought.

Regina's POV
That Emma Swan. Such an impatiant, infuriating woman. I cannot believe she said her and I had something in common. But she did. And this is what was making me frustrated.
Because it was true.
No. No. It can't be. Im not alike with her. I don't think the same as she does. Nope. Not at all.
She doesn't think like me.
