Soujiro sat on a tree with Hope. "Miss Hope, please stay here, alright?" he said.
"Yush! Yush! Hope will stay with Kimbro. Will be a good girl." Hope answered.
"No, Soujiro, don't leave her." Myoku said but Soujiro did not seem to have heard her. He jumped off the tree. Myoku screamed, "NO SOUJIRO, DON'T!" her eyes suddenly reverted to Ryuugan. Soujiro saw a dragon's head slowly formed and glimmered from Myoku's eyes. The dragon head grew larger and enveloped Myoku. She bellowed a cry of pain but what the others heard was a loud dragon's roar. The dragon's glimmering energy hit Soujiro and threw him several feet away, knocking him out. Myoku then focused on Hope who was left on a palm tree, Ryuugan fully activated. A River clone in a more human form appeared beside the tree where Hope is sitting and willed the tree to swallow Hope with a protective bark before any attack hits her. River saw Soujiro on the ground, unconscious. Oh, no! Soujiro! River could only hope he was not fatally injured. Myoku roared while Hope and Kimbro are inside the tree, playing some music.
Myoku, I didn't want to do this, but... River concentrated and willed, "Ice Element: White Dragon Ainsworth!" A huge white ice dragon that can freeze anything with its breath materialized. Myoku lowered her head and moaned. She pleaded to River with tears streaming down her human eyes, "Please, Master River. Do it. I beg of you." she cried. River hesitated for a bit. Myoku's still in there. She's fighting this dragon. She's trying her best to control her power. If I freeze this dragon, then her human body will...
Myoku's eyes suddenly changed to Ryuugan. "YOU CANNOT DEFEAT ME, PUNY LORD!"
River commanded his dragon quickly, "Ice Element: Frost Breath! Ainsworth, freeze her now!" Ainsworth, the ice dragon, roared and breathed at Myoku freezing her like an ice statue. "This should hold you until Cray musters her courage and FINALLY GET OUT OF HER TENT TO HELP US!" River yelled loud enough for Cray to hear him. Ainsworth and the ice encaging Myoku slowly melt due to the heat that Myoku's aura emitted. River started losing his energy. "That... was..." he closed his eyes to concentrate more. When he opened his eyes and he was back at the shore of LaMahaya port. Damn it! Lost control of it again. I'm so spent! One more... come on, River Wolfert, push past your limit!
Soujiro is unconscious. River clone gone. Myoku is frozen. Hope is inside the bark of a tree playing a soft music to calm Myoku's mind. Cray remained standing, inside the tent, confused.
Inside Myoku's mind, everything's dark. She was suspended in the air, arms outstretched. A gold chain of thorns wrapped around her body, some thorns pricked her flesh making her bleed. A huge dragon slither around the area guarding her. Myoku, bearing human eyes, gripped a bronze metal chain suspending her attached to the dragon's neck running through its body up to its tail. The bronze chain is the only thing that was making Myoku human and alive. Without it, she will be engulfed in the dragon's energy thus killing her. The gold chain of thorns on the other hand is the dragon's means of keeping itself alive inside Myoku, taking control of her mind.
"The Heaven's Sword that you are will never overpower me who rules the heavens!" The dragon said. Myoku grinned. The dragon glared at her and asked "What's funny, human?"
"There are no dragons in the heavens." she said. "ONLY ANGELS!" She gripped the bronze chain, forcefully pulled it toward her. The dragon roared in rage. Myoku screamed, "CRAY!!!"
Cray slowly walked outside the ice tent. "Myoku? River? Soujiro?" she called them panicking. The ice that encaged Myoku continuously melted. The ice dragon, Ainsworth, had been shattered. Inside Myoku, a fight between the dragon and her will to control her mind is ongoing. "You can't keep me shut no longer. You're getting weaker by the minute." The dragon said. "Shut up! You won't take over completely!" she told the dragon gripping tightly on the bronze chain that's keeping her humanity. Every movement she and the dragon made caused her pain. Although the chain only grips her spiritual body, she can feel it physically. While her physical body is frozen, her mind struggled to free herself from the dragon's hold. Its energy is so overwhelming that she can feel she's losing her own. She doesn't want to be totally consumed and lose her life. The moment the dragon takes full control, she will lose her life force, thus, the dragon's spiritual energy will take her life in the process. She remembered the first time she met Cray. Cray had tried to look at her mind with her power. She closes her eyes and concentrated on thinking about her friend. Myoku used every bit of her remaining strength to call her friend using her mind, hoping it will reach out to her. And it did.
