Cray and Myoku sat on the couch of the viewing room side by side trying their best to relax, despite of their body pains, and normalize their breathing.
"Thank goodness, we're done!" Cray said. "I know, right!" Myoku said. "So, how'd you learn all that stuff, Myoku?" Cray asked. "Huh? Those combat moves? I just copied them from Soujiro when we were in training." Myoku replied. "Really? They're awesome though. How about the Ryuugan? Have you had that eye technique ever since?" Cray asks. "The Ryuugan? Yeah. It's the power of the dragon's eyes. The one you sealed." Myoku said smiling. "It makes me read my opponent's movements, build up energy and condense it in a ball so I can use it to attack. It can also make me see a bit of the future and most of the... the past." she said it faintly, remembering the vision. When the LaMahaya lords heard it, they were all amazed. However, Raiza Sandabado thought something else. "This girl. She is no ordinary one. She will be a great help and asset to this mission. However, she can also be a formidable foe should it come to a worse case scenario," he thought to himself. "Then, you can use this power to determine the future and find River's father, right?" LeGrande asked. "NO!" Myoku said trembling. "I'm sorry. I mean, no." she realized she just shouted. But she lied. She knows there's a possibility that she can use the Ryuugan to know what will happen to River's father, who happens to be her uncle. However, it will be too risky. LeGrande just nods. "I see." River, listening to their conversation, puzzled out the events. "She awoke and was fine but after that last battle when my holo image appeared and said she lied, she was furious. That means she must be keeping something from me. But I'll let her go at her own pace, it may not even be important."
Myoku side glanced at River then turned her gaze to the battle chamber. "I... for some odd reason,... the future is quite a blur right now. I am sorry." she said with a trembling voice. LeGrande also turned focus on the battle chamber. "That's alright. We'll let the future be the future and the past be the past." he smiled. "It is wise to look ahead but not farther than the eye can see." LeGrande said comforting her. "You're right. Thanks, grandpa." Myoku said gratefully. "Excuse me?" LeGrande said looking at her, concerned. "Oh! I'm sorry." Myoku said smiling. "You suddenly sounded like my grandfather." "Ha. Ha." LeGrande said with a chuckle. Myoku smiled faintly. "So, Miss Reiko. Tell me." Raiza Sandabado said. Everyone looked at him. "What is your grandfather's name?" Raiza asked. "His name is Koyumo Reiko. Master of the Dragon Temple, Lord Sandabado." Myoku answered. "I thought so." Raiza said. "You know my grandfather?" Myoku asked surprised. "He happens to be... A former acquaintance of mine." He answered. "Shall we choose the next duelists, Lord Wolfert?"
Raiza pushed a button on the control panel in the viewing room. The electronic board started choosing the next fighters. As if granting LeGrande's request, the next match was revealed. The board flashed:
NEXT MATCH: Ainsworth, LeGrande vs Van Buren, Alveo.
LeGrande smiles sadistically. "Good luck, LeGrande! Kick Mr. Ugly's ass!" Myoku taps his back. "Thank you, Myoku!" LeGrande replied with an evil grin. "I am so looking forward to this." Cray raised her hands and cheered, "GO, LEGGER!" LeGrande faced Alveo. "I'll enjoy watching you freeze before me, Alveo." he said. Alveo smiled happily then frolicked down to the battle chamber. "Good luck, both of you!" River said. "Be careful you guys." Emerald grins excitedly. "Thank you, Emerald! Being careful is so... tedious though." Alveo said. "Indeed." LeGrande said. "Can't I just beat him down and you heal him afterwards? I promise not to break anything." he smiled kindly. The two fighters left the viewing room and went to the chamber. The computer mainframe started preparing the battlefield. The battlefield is then selected. Darkness engulfed the arena and the battle chamber became snowy. A dark, snowy evening. The fighters faced each other smiling fiercely formulating their own tactics in their minds. "Ready when you are Avivo." LeGrande said.
