Old Friend New Lover | Conan Gray

Chapter 4- Sunset Season

May- 12th 2017
I watch as the clock hits 12 and I go and make sure my parents were asleep so I could sneak out my window to meet up with conan outside. As I head over to my window the floor creaks waking rae up and asking me where I'm going. "Where do you think you're going huh she asks slightly annoyed being woken up"? Oh I'm just going out for a bit. "Out where it's 12 am sydney"? I'm... I'm going out to meet up with Conan on his roof to watch the sunset. 

We do it every other day... been doing it for awhile now.
Please don't tell my parents ok this is really important to me and let me go cone is waiting for me. I had to go now by I won't be long promise. I head out my window and over to Conans place. He helps me inside and up to his roof and he lays a blanket over us since it was a little chilly out tonight. I scooch closer hoping to get warmer
he playfully pushes me away but, soon hugs me tight and we just sit and bask in this moment as we do all our moments together.

How happy are you right now?
"Well you always ask me this and I always say I'm happy because I'm here with you right now he says with a giggle looking down at me. Oh stop it I say smiling looking back up at him. I look down and play with my hands until he ask me how I am. "How are you syd"? I smile up at him... you know I'm doing just fine cone thank you for asking. "Glad to hear it bubs".

We sit up on his roof talking about the stars and the universe and how crazy it is that we exist and now know each other. I always loved conversations like these but, I especially love having them with Conan. He's so soft spoken and he always will heae your point of view and will understand where you're coming from even if he doesn't agree and, I love that about him.

We say our goodbyes for the night and part ways just as the sun began to rise. I feel so at peace now and, I always feel so happy after being with Conan but especially after long nights talking about whatever comes to mind on his roof. It puts my mind at ease diminishing whatever anxieties or worries from my day completely gone.

I really feel at place here... like this is my new home as it will be for a very long time... like conan he's my new home and I don't plan on ever leaving.
