"Please, help me!"
Blood seeped from the side of her mouth as her bruised fingers bled onto Draken's leg. He was shocked, obviously, who would expect to find the thing they were looking for like this?
"Uh, yeah, I got you."
He says, helping her up as footsteps start to close in on them.
"She went this way, look at the trail."
Draken looks at the trail of blood that she left behind. The girl's eyes went wide, she was about to scream when Draken put his hand over her mouth.
"I know you're scared, but we can't freak out now. Follow me, I'll protect you."
He puts her on his back as he starts booking it down the alley. His footsteps weren't exactly light, so whoever was chasing her, caught up quickly.
"Let her go you bitch!"
One of the guys screams as they chase after him.
Fuck! Where am I supposed to go?!?!
He was panicking. If he kept running through the alleys there'd definitely be a dead end, but if he went through the streets all eyes would be on them. There wasn't much time to think either, so he did what he had to do.
He sprinted through the streets of Tokyo, and as expected, all eyes were on him. The girl on his back had knocked out due to shock and exhaustion, so they were definitely standing out. People started to crowd around them, leaving a little space for them to run through.
To his surprise no one tried to stop him, until a gun shot was let off. He turns his head back quickly to see that the people parted, and two motorcycles were heading his way.
"SHIT!"
He screams as he picks up the pace, but he knew he'd never out run a bike.
