Well today’s the day; I finally get to meet the charmer of the group’s girlfriend. And may I say, I was incredibly excited with a pinch of nerves. Dan’s been none stop talking about it since he told me 12 days ago, yes I even know how long ago. Dan’s fault, not mine. Jade came back late last night. Of course, Dan went to collect her, and of course, it was a Saturday which means band practice at Josh’s this time. I finally got someone to fangirl over them with me! Have I mentioned I’m incredibly excited? Oh silly me, of course I have, I ‘haven’t shut up about it since this morning’ Josh’s words, not mine.
“Ready to meet my girl? x” Does he really need to ask?
“Of course! Now stop hogging her and let me meet her… Pretty please x”
“Here!” I turned around to see Dan and the prettiest girl alive. Right that’s it; She’s my girl crush. Her hair was black like mine but without any highlights, she looked around 5ft 4, well around there anyway. She was thin but not a bag of bones; She had curves. Her make-up was also the same as mine more or less; pale foundation from the looks of it, black eyeliner (top and bottom) and mascara that showed off her long lashes. She was wearing dark purple skinny jeans with massive amounts of rips included, along with a black top with the ‘yin yang’ sign on. Oh and she just happened to wear a pair of Batman converse. The girl is after my own heart, stuff Dan… We are going to be best friends. For sure!
“Hello, I’m Lucie.” I walked up to Jade with my hand out ready for her to do the same thing. Her face was clearly in confusion. What?
“Haha aww sweetie, no need to be formal. Come here!” Giggles escaped from both of us before she pulled me into a hug. Yes! I think it’s safe to say that she likes me. “Oh, I’m Jade by the way but I’m sure we knew each other’s names anyway, Daniel here never stops talking about how cute you and Josh are.” I’m sure my cheeks were becoming a lovely shade of cherry red.
“Really? Aww, Dan, when did you become so cute? Dan never stopped talking about you either; counting down the days, recalling the biggest memories to the tiny ones, and saying how utterly perfect you truly are.”
“Aww Dan! I fucking love you Danny boy!” She basically screamed. Aww.
“I love you too Jadey!” She ran full speed across the room from me to jump and wrap her legs around his legs. Okay, now that’s cute. Her top raised up a little to reveal some newly fresh scratches by the look of it. Naughty naughty.

The guys finished their rehearsal 4 hours after everyone arrived. Of course, Jade and I was basically gossiping all the way through but still looking interested in the guys… What? That’s what we females do; multitask. We’re into the same bands, she met Dan a few months after my accident happened, when she moved from Lincolnshire, and got together on her 16th. It’s going to be their 2 year anniversary in under 3 months; 3rd December. I must admit, I was making so many ‘aww’ comments when she was telling me about their first date, first kiss, the very first night they spent together, everything. They are so cute! Of course, I told her everything; me getting expelled and moving here, Josh asking me out, the accident, the pregnancy thing and the moment in Mr. Carlile’s classroom and the song. I have never had a girl best friend really before and neither has Jade, so it’s kinda weird but a good weird. We exchanged numbers before we all left.
“I take it you and Jade got on then?” Josh said along with a cheesy smile on the way back home.
“Yeah! She’s amazing. Her and Dan are just perfect!” I smiled up at Josh.
