Prepare yourself Joshua, Lucie’s on her way.

You know when you’re at a theme park and you really want to go on the biggest and scariest ride, and you’re feeling scared, you want to throw up but want to do it at the same time? Well, this is the exact feeling.

I knocked quietly expecting Josh to be near the door waiting for me so we don’t wake up his family. Aren’t we kind and caring teenagers?

“Hey.” I said after I snuggled into Josh’s chest as soon as he opened the door. It took him a few seconds to react due to me being so quick and wanted him all to myself.

“Lucie. What’s wrong? I know I’ve done something, but what exactly? I’m sorry! I didn’t realise I said something that made you run off like that. I’m so so sorry! Forgive me?” Calm down Josh.

“Wanna go upstairs?” I mumbled, I really didn’t want to be downstairs sorting this situation out when anyone could walk in. I know his family could walk into his room but I guess his room is more private compare than his front room I suppose.

“Sure sexy.” Sending me a little wink. Oh dear, just imagine the kind of images I sent him. Oh fucking dear.

We soon managed to arrive to his bedroom in complete silence, which is highly surprising considering Josh is never silent.

“I’m sorry.” Josh said while hugging me rather tightly.

“Aww, you don’t need to be sorry, you just made me think about what Max said and what you replied with. I’m probably being silly but-” I was soon cut off by my lips moving in sync with Josh’s. The kiss got heated incredibly quickly and became more passionate by the second. This wasn’t the reason I came round but this is perfectly okay with me.

“So which conversation got you thinking then hot stuff?” Josh retreated and asked. Smugness danced in his voice.

“Well rock star, you know when I was quizzing Dan about Jade and I mentioned about how I hope she likes me and you were being all cheesy but cute? And Max said ‘Awwww! You guys need to live together and get married and have perfect children and grow old and watch your grandchildren grow up and be together forever and ever!’ and you replied with ‘What do you say hot stuff? Deal?’”

“Yeah?” Concern grew in his eyes. What was I doing to him?

“Well, you just got me thinking. We’ve only been together 2 days and you’re already making me think that you’re planning our future already. Yeah we might be in love but we’re only young at the end of the day. Sure, I’d like to think that we stay together and we’ll be the couple that turned the teenage relationship into the couple that got married and grew old together and will love each other forever and ever, of course I do, well who wouldn’t? Yeah, maybe you were being cheesy again and it was said on impulse. I’m sorry.” ‘My little speech’ was all mumbled and rushed while I played with my hands. It must have appeared terrible rude because I was looking at the carpet but I couldn’t look into his eyes and feel his hurt rush over me. I just couldn’t. Sorry Josh, maybe you deserve better.

*Josh’s P.O.V*

“Don’t be sorry, I know we only got together a couple of days ago but I think… Well… I love you Lucie Green. I’ll agree with you thinking that we’ll grow old together but forever isn’t going to be long enough. Every second counts I have with you like it did last time. I was thinking ahead because the last time I didn’t. I just thought we were the summer couple and didn’t think anything of it and that made me lose you the first time, please don’t let me lose you a second.” I literally poured my heart out to her, and even told her.

I broke my promise to my family, her family but worse of all; I broke my promise to myself.

She’s going to want answers. Josh, you’re going to have to tell her.

To tell her everything.
