“Josh…”

“I haven’t got the ring yet because I’m rubbish at those types of things. So what do you say? Wanna become Mrs. Lucie Franceschi in the future?” By now, every single person in that room was crowding round us or standing on the tables just to see. Jade was in tears and Dan is really close but not quite. Matt and Chris were taking so many pictures it felt like I was famous. Max and Mr. Carlile was recording from the very start of Josh’s speech. Did I really want to get engaged at the age of 17?

“Get up silly and come here.” Even though I was blushing terribly; a smile was upon my face. Josh got up with a little hurt in his eyes. I reached up a little so our foreheads were connected and lent in for a kiss. Of course, he kissed back with a little force the same as mine. It was sweet but passionate. I stepped back and took both his hands in mine. “You just kissed the future Mrs. Franceschi.” I said proudly and loudly so everyone heard, well it wasn’t like I needed to; The room was in complete silence.

“REALLY?!” This time is was Josh’s turn to be in shock.

“Of course!” And with that, I was picked up and twirled around while Josh’s lips were connected to mine. Remember how I said the room was in silence? Well, it’s the quite opposite now. Jade was crying harder, and I swear I saw a couple of tears escape from all the guys, even Mr. Carlile was crying. Aww.

Sir raised his hand before shouting “1…2…3” What?

“CONGRATULATIONS JUCIE!” Everyone single person joined in; all the students, all the teachers and staff, and even both of our families. Wait what? Mum? Dad? Harley? Alex? Ann? Elissa?

“I hope you don’t mind that I invited them?” Sneaky Joshua. Very sneaky indeed.

“You had this planned all along didn’t you?”

“Yeah.” His cheeks turned a very pale pink. Aww, my boys all embarrassed. I grabbed his hand and started to walk over to them. “I had this planned even if you were pregnant.” He whispered so no one heard, both our parents still don’t know about that.

“Congratulations both of you!” The 6 of them said in sync. Aww. Josh put his arm around my shoulders and pulled my closer to him.

“Thank you!” We both said before he kissed my cheek.

“I’m glad you rang me Joshua, I wouldn’t want to miss this for the world, and thank you for asking for my permission to marry my daughter.” My dad shook my fiancé’s hand… I really need to get use to that really. I’m glad Josh did everything by the book, just like my dad would have wanted. We all hugged and many kisses on the cheeks were given and received by the time we were done.

“Are you?” Harley whispered as we exchanged a hug and a kiss on the cheek. I shook my head still smiling. “Sorry.” He was still smiling but he had to, I suspected someone was looking.

“It’s fine, we’re not in the best position yet to have children, nor get married yet, but I’ll take the engaged idea.” I sent him a little wink before returning back to my prince charming. The guys had come over along with Mr. Carlile. Even though, none of them were related to me, they still felt like my family. Every single one. Of course, Jade was still in tears.

“Aww babe! I can’t believe you’re engaged!” She said while we began jumping up and down. Can you tell she’s more excited than I am? I still can’t believe I’m engaged to Josh after only being with him just over 2 weeks.

“I know! I know! I always thought you would be the first to get engaged considering how much you’ve told me! We’ve only been together 16 days!” I replied. It’s true; I always imagined getting engaged when I’m like 24 or something and being with someone for like 5 years.
