Good Seeing You Again (You Me At Six Fan Fiction)

Chapter 32

*Lucie's P.O.V*

"Jade," I whispered. "Jade, come on, it's 9, Dan will be here in a hour."  Jade started to stir and moan. I'm just waiting for the kick in the face. I hate waking her up. She gets incredibly violent... Too violent sometimes.

"Ugh. Fine, help me up." Well that's a different approach. I lifted her up and place her onto her feet. "I'm up. I'll go downstairs and wait for him." Really?

"Ermm babe? You may want to take a shower and sort yourself out." She was still in her white dress, her perfectly curled hair was now sticking out in random places and to be honest, she looked drained. She sighed and walked towards my bathroom.

"Fine."

Jade finally emerged from the bathroom in a pair of my old joggers, one of Josh's t-shirts and her hair pulled back into a scruffy bun. We've seen each other in some pretty awful situations but seeing her drained, hurt and clearly heartbroken, was hard. Really hard. Really, really hard. She walked towards me as a pulled her into a hug. The next thing I noticed, she stared to violently cry into my shoulder.

I gently pushed her off after she calmed down and bent down a little. She gladly accepted and jumped on. I gave her a piggy back all the way downstairs and let her fall off onto one of the sofas. She immediately turned on the T.V and started to watch Doctor Who. Man, she loves that. I left her to it and went to make coffees. 09:40am, 20 minutes. Right, better get the chocolate out. Jade will be freaking got by now. I reached into one of the cupboards, right at the back until I fount the tin. It's just a normal tin really... Which has Jade's name on... Which includes fuck loads of chocolate... Like I said, just a normal tin really. I placed the tin under my arm and picked up both mugs.

"So, the year 5 billion... The Sun expands, the Earth gets roasted."

"That was our first date."

"We had chips."

Yeah, she knows most lines from every episode... I loved Christopher Eccleston and David Tennant best. But as usual, Jade has to be different and be completely in love with Matt Smith. Don't get me wrong, he's good but I prefer the first 2 Doctors. I placed the coffees down on the table and passed the tin to Jade.

"You got out my tin..." Her eyes started to glaze over, she's so emotional right now but I can't really blame her. I sat down and pulled her into my embrace. 

09:48am, this is the only time I wish time could slow down but also speed up... Is that weird?

"Morning gorgeous. It's a bit late but I've only just woke up... How's Jade this morning? Call or text me if you need any support through it. Love you!xxxx" Aww, he's a cutie but one lazy fucker.

"Morning handsome or should that be Mr Lazy ;) Still incredibly emotional and both physically and mentally drained. I think she just wants Dan back if I'm honest. Expect a message or a call from me later then. Love you too!xxxx"

I was waiting for Josh to reply when the door bell rang. I looked at the time; 09:53am... He's early. I let go of Jade gently but to be honest, I don't think she even heard the bell she was that involved with mumbling along with the script. I opened the door and Dan was standing there looking at his feet with playing with his fingers. A sign which tells me he's nervous and most probably scared shitless. I gave him a hug and a squeeze.

"You'll be okay Dan, just remain calm." I mumbled into his ear. He nodded in response and followed me through into the living room. Jade was still munching on Galaxy and following the script. Dan let out a cough which soon got her attention. The piece of chocolate fell from her hand and landed on her lap. Her mouth dropped open but soon closed and she stood up.
