“Morning dickhead, how are you this lovely morning?” Josh asked while giving me a bone crunching hug.
“Excuse me, that wasn’t what you were calling me last night… If I recall wasn’t it ‘hot stuff’ Joshua.” I replied with a smug tone and a cheeky little wink. I was about to give him a peak on the cheek due to him being a drama queen and over re-acting to my statement, until I noticed 4 guys standing just behind Josh. Oh shit, let the teasing commence then.
“Hot stuff? Ooh what do we have here then?” The shortest one of them said. Despite his height, he was a cutie, he reminded me of a hedgehog with his spikey hair and little button nose. Aww. I noticed Josh’s cheeks were becoming bright red and scrunched his nose up in the most adorable way ever.
“Oh babe, he was screaming my name out all night long… Probably due to the nightmares about the bad clown taking his teddy bear away from him.” I stated with a smile and winked at the ‘hedgehog’ dude. After that, all the dudes except Josh were basically rolling on the floor laughing. Yeah, we were definitely all going to become close just like Josh and I already were.
“Ooh now all your secrets are coming out Josh. Care to share more beautiful lady?” The clearest ocean coloured eyes, apart from Josh’s, were staring into my boring emerald coloured ones. Damn, he’s hot. He clearly bleached his hair due to the slight brown roots creeping through. Josh came running over and hugged me while protecting me.
“Don’t listen Lucie, Dan’s the charmer of the gang!” Josh shouted while still keeping me behind me.
“Calm down Josh, I’m not after your girl, remember, I have my own beauty to love.” Dan said while smirking. I stepped from behind Josh to stand next to him to see his cheeks burning red this time. Aww, double adorable.
“Shut up Dan, Lucie’s not my girl, we’re just close.” Josh said. Wow, I felt like I had been kicked over a million times in the gut with what Josh had just said ‘Lucie’s not my girl’. Clearly he didn’t feel the same way as I did about him…
Whoa! What?! Clearly he didn’t feel the same way as I did? What?! I didn’t feel like that about Josh, how could I? We’re just friends aren’t we?
*Josh’s P.O.V*
“Shut up Dan, Lucie’s not my girl, we’re just close.” Shit! That came out harsh, fuck! I’m right; Lucie’s not my girl… She was, but I lost her but I’m determined to get her back, but would she want me?

*Lucie’s P.O.V*
“Lucie, meet Matt and Chris,” Josh said happily while pointing to the guy with black sweepy hair and the other one with long brown hair which was pulled into a messy bun type thing. “You’ve already met Max,” pointing to ‘hedgehog’ boy “and finally, last but not least, the one and only Dan.” Pointing to the guy with bleached hair and beautiful eyes.
“HEY!” They all shouted at me, including Josh. Thanks guys, just remember I would like to keep my eardrums please. We all started to walk into the school gates, but not before I had to ‘scratch my leg’ which caused me to stop and bend down. This of course was all an act to get Josh back. None of the guys noticed that I had stopped which was an added plus. I slowly got up, ran and jumped onto Josh’s back. Of course he caught me. I soon realised that this was a mistake due to Josh not letting me down until we got to the main office. I wouldn’t have minded so much if people didn’t stare at me like I’m a freak.
