Part 25: The Grown Goddess

Lucifer:

I walk out of my room and let out a breath. I already miss her stubborn ass so much but this is only for her protection.

I know she would fight and I know for a fact she would fight her hardest. But Angel men are different from regular human men.

I know my love could handle a fight but with multiple godlike men coming at her.. I don't think she would be able to handle.

I walk down the hallways and into my office. Raphael has his head in some paperwork and his eyebrows are furrowed.

I walk over to the desk and Raph looks up.

"How did she take it?" Raph asks and I take an exhausted seat one the loveseat by my desk. I lean back and readjust myself.

"She knows something is up Raph." I say and he nods.

"Yeah she came in here firing orders at me before you guys decided to leave." Raph says and I squint my eyes and begin to pay more attention to the conversation.

"What kind of orders?" I ask and Raph lets out a breath while fully turning his attention from the paper work to our conversation.

"Basically just demanding me to tell her what you have planned." He says and shake my head in disbelief.

"She's very intellectual." I say before putting my face in my hands.

I hate that I left her with the people she left me for. What if she tries to leave me again. She's very smart and could easily fool me.

Unfortunately...

She is my only weakness ... literally.

"I say we make a visit to Kilo's family... they could help us.. well, atleast her father." Raph says and I nod before humming in thought.

I don't like Kilo's father but we both have the same goal... to eradicate Cassiel and keep my love safe. If I have to work with him then I guess I will.

"I guess that's a good plan." I say and Raph nods.

"When should we go?" Raph asks and I hum in thought.

"Let's leave now, I doubt they are doing anything important." I say and Raph stands up immediately. I grab my coat and we are soon out the door.

Raph and I walk up to the front door of Apollo's ridiculous sized mansion. I guess it had to be that big considering how many children the god had.

I look over at Raph before placing three solid knocks on the front door. There is a long pause before Apollo himself opens the door.

"When my son told me who was the door, I almost didn't believe him." Apollo's says to me before looking over at Raphael.

"I didn't come here to hang out. I came for business. We need to discuss how to get rid of Cassiel." I say and Apollo opens his doors wider signaling for us to come inside.

He takes us up the stairs and into a large yet filled office space. He settles in his desk chair with a grunt. Raph and I sit in the chairs in front of his desk.
