Embarrassment. Yep that's it. That's how I feel. Every time I see him I just want to rip his clothes off and do everything I didn't know i'd ever want to do.
Waves of heat rush throughout my body and I groan in pain. The seamstress came in a few minutes ago to take my sweaty dress off leaving me in my underwear.
Lucifer walks in and I feel my mind become foggy.
My underwear begins to dampen as he walks over to me. He tucks my hair behind my ear and rubs my cheek.
Serafine walks into the room with a large staff that contains a blue crystal in the center of it. She starts chanting incoherently under her breath.
The blue crystal begins to glow so brightly that it singes my eyes. I groan in pain and Lucifer grabs my hand.
I shield my face as large winds begin to circle through the room. The bedding begins to fly off of my body and my hair begins to fly around.
I feel myself become more aware as Serafine continues to chant.
I gasp loudly as a sharp pain rolls down my body, from my head to my toes.
The wind then settles and the crystal stops glowing. I take a deep breath as the feeling of hot desire slowly fades away.
I fully relax and let out a loud breath.
Lucifer's eyes flickers as he stares at me and Serafine grabs his arm. "You have to control yourself, Lucifer." She says to him and I look over at her with confusion.
"I thought you stopped the heat?" I ask her and she looks at me with squinted eyes.
"For you. But Lucifer's will now begin to grow stronger by the day." She says while pushing him out of the door. He glances behind Serafine to stare at me before closing his eyes and walking away from the door.
Serafine closes the door and turns around to stare at me. "So you forgave him?" She asks me and I huff.
"No, he said he was going to explain but then the heat took over-" I start to say before she interrupts me.
"He rejected her advances." She says whole sitting on the bed in front of me. I stare at her with confusion. "The human you are worried about, he rejected her. He really feels for you." She says and I stare at the wall blankly.
"I'm his mate Serafine, I feel for him." I say and she nods.
"The real question is, are you still wanting to get away?" She asks me and I take a deep breath. It sounds nice to start over and meet some humans. Earth is something i've had yet to explore and I have so many things I want to experience.
I don't belong with the angels, even the fallen one.
"Yes." I say and she looks at me with sympathy before nodding her head in understanding.
"Then after the party tonight we must go save my mate. He is the only one who can help." She says to me and I nod.
